Could this be used in a mobile home as an underlayment? (over 3/4 mdf that is already down) I have a few 'soft spots' but nothing that prompts me to replace the whole subfloor.

Rated 4.5 out of 5 by 2 reviewers.
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by amazing results When I started to do a reroof with a small temp patch I needed to replace the 3 ply sheathing on the roof. I figured I would give this stuff a try. I live in a hot summer climate and my attic gets very hot in the summer. I went up there to do something on a warm day and discovered that I could hold my hand on the foil of the OSB, but could barely get close to the original 3ply next to it without burning my hand. It rely does work well. Foil out for walls and foil down for roofs. My whole house is much cooler in the summer thanks to this stuff. It is well worth the extra cost. You will save enough on power the first year to pay for it. May 22, 2014
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Good Stuff! This OSB with the radiant barrier really does shield from heat from direct sun. We used it for the first time on a detached garage and it made a noticible difference in how hot the garage got on hot days. Plus, we used leftovers for shelving. Normally OSB doesn't make good shelves because unlike plywood the rough surface prevents you from easily sliding boxes on them. This stuff used as shelves has built in shelf paper! And the reflective layer is REALLY stuck on there. It won't peel off and it wipes clean. June 10, 2012
