I purchased this stand with the S-1318HD2 Hammock as an anniversary present for my wife. You know if Mama ain't happy nobody's happy. Well, she loves it! Mission accomplished. It was a breeze to assemble. No tools involved, it just snaps together. There's really only two ways you could screw up, but reading the assembly instructions should prevent that. Also, remember to tighten the hammock after using it a couple times, that should help with the saging issue I read about in a previous review. Removed it from the box, snapped it together, and was lounging in the hammock in about 10 minutes. Best of all it comes apart quick and easy for storage and to get it out of the way of the lawn mower. Mama's Happy and I'm Happy!

The hammock stand was very easy to set up and meets all of our expectations. It is very sturdy and a nice finish. I like that you can adjust the overall length just by removing or adding one bar so that you can use different sized hammocks. It does take 2 people to move it (to avoid dragging it).

Works for it's purpose, but started rusting just a few days after assembled.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by NanaReed55 Good value for the money. Sturdy and serves the purpose for the hammock that I purchased at Home Depot.
Very happy with this product. Also bought hammock to go along with this stand. This is a gift for my son-in-law.

Nice, heavy duty powder coated steel. Very easy to assemble. But poor fit; not tight, wobbles a lot when you are getting in hammock, out of hammock, or just in general. Be aware that this takes up a HUGE amount of space on your patio.

This hammock stand was very easy to assemble. The version we purchased has the wheel attachment for easier portability. I am a little concerned about the fact that the frame seems to be loose and wobbly. In addition, I am hoping that it holds up to the published weight limit as the combined weight of my husband and myself is almost at the limit. So far, the stand seems to be doing its job. We shall see if it lasts. I suppose you get what you pay for and at $99, this stand is not very expensive.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by LStu Very large, but adjustable
Initially I was worried since the full length is nearly 16 feet and my patio is only 15, then it got worse when my hammock was too short for the stand. Luckily, it occurred to me that one of the middle poles can be removed to shorten the length of the entire stand and it fit perfectly. I did have to shorten the chain a bit as well, but that didn't even require any tools. This stand is extremely versatile and they don't even advertise it that way.
