This valve was working fine at fall shut down. On spring start up it does not open flow. Is there a rebuild kit for this valve so I do not have to cut it out of the 1" line ??

Answer:
The two most wearable parts on any valve is the diaphragm and the solenoid. Toro does offer both replacement parts: Jar Top Valve Diaphragm Model 53804 and the Jar Top Solenoid Model 53803. Replacing one or both of these parts should work without having to “cut out’ the valve. If you need further technical service, please call Toro Technical Support Center at 800-367-8676.

Customer Reviews

Rated 3.5 out of 5 by 2 reviewers.
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Best Valves I have Ever Used I have used several of these valves over the past few years. I have not had one bit of trouble with them. November 27, 2015
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Not Impressed This is not my first rodeo. I've had great success with Toro valves in the past (53380). However with these valves, four of the eight I just installed leak. They either don't close completely or they leak at the bonnet (water pools on the top of the unit base). I've followed Toro's recs regarding leaking valves to no avail. I'll probably try Orbit next go-'round. June 19, 2012
