Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Handyman I just purchased these valves and installed them AND ONE IS ALREADY LEKING FROM THE CENTER. Take it off and returned it
I just purchased these valves and installed them AND ONE IS ALREADY LEAKING FROM THE CENTER. This is the very reason why American companies need to stop sending jobs to Mexico the quality is not there , and as a customer of this product I will not be buying them again. I had to cut it off and return it. The product used to be made in America, I have been installing these for years in my business. But this is the third one in less then six months that I had to remove and reinstall another one because they are leaking in the same spot. They are now being made in Mexico and the quality of the product has gone down hill greatly. Would not recommend this product or the Orion valve both are not worth the money. Get a clue Home Depot stop buying your products from out of the country.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Abulling 12 years and going strong
I have had 5 of these valves in place for about 12 years now. After about the 9th year, each season I may need to replace a diaphragm (leaky valve) or solenoid (non-functioning valve through controller) or two, but besides that they are going strong. It is less expensive to by a new valve with a diaphragm and solenoid then to try and find/buy the parts individually.
