18.5 in. Dia Western Red Cedar Barrel Planter is rated 3.5 out of 5 by 22.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good, but picture is a bit misleading I like these planters a lot. Need to drill a few more drainage holes in the bottom to be safe. My problem is that it is shown here as finished and sealed, but it is not. Arrives completely unfinished and unsanded. You can use it that way, but it is worthwhile to finish the outside. Just don't expect to pop open the box and have a nice stained and sealed product.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from The planter is attractive. I just got this barrel so I don't know how well it will hold up in the rainy season but it looks nice. But the metal support strips are so skimpy and narrow that I'm not sure if over time they will be able to hold the wooden slats together when the barrel is filled. Also I should have gotten a caddy to move this because it's very heavy when full. I do appreciate American made though but they could do a better job building these. Time will tell how durable this is.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from love! I bought two barrels and laid a clear circle glass over the top to create end tables. Worked perfectly and priced great!

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Not Durable They are nice but loose and the metal straps rust and eventually break. Now I have my huge, beautiful banana plant sittings in a barrel that is falling apart. So back to trying to transplant it to a more durable barrel.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from The planter looks great, but it is loose in 2 areas and has one of the small wooden brackets is off after fixed, I think it will be great. Is Christmas gift, can't return until after opened.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Nice for the price This is a nice cedar planter for the price. The bands are a little flimsy and could be nicer, overall good product for the cost.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from It is as described in the web except the color is beige instead of red as it appeared in the web. Size is good, color is natural. I do organic gardening and wish the bottom of the pot is natural wood instead of plastic. The shipping is prompt.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Terrible Construction I bought this product with the intention of modifying it into something slightly different. After opening the box, I immediately knew it would not work. The joints are very very loose and do not fit well together, the wood was chipped in many areas, and the metal band was loose and barely fit into the notch. If you are using this as a planter, and only hope to have it for one season it would probably work... Otherwise, I would spend my money on something that was built with more quality in mind.
