I really like this box, it is a cheap planting solution that isn't made of plastic. It is appropriately priced, though, so don't expect master carpenter construction when it arrives. It is a nice box that seems to be built from the leftovers of fencing products. I love mine, but I picked it up in store so I knew exactly what I was buying.
I spent the afternoon finishing it with a lot of sandpaper and some waterproof stain. After lining it with plastic and filling it with dirt (about 2 cubic feet, FYI) and a plant, it looks nice.
Do buy this planter, but don't expect it to arrive a finished product unless you like the raw, rough-cut wood look.

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Howie Good product
Got a few for some plants i'm relocating. I just need something to plants in and this is a good box. Its not really heavy duty, it will break/crack if you drop it so be careful. Also if you buy this, inspect it good because some are broken or cracked. Other than that. ill give this a 3 out of 5 because youre getting what you paid for.

I planted directly into these boxes so I'll have to wait to see how the wood holds up as the construction is not top quality. I think there would be less of a problem if I just used the boxes as 'covers' for potted plants. Three of this size box fit exactly on the metal wheeled carrier I am using. So glad to have found such an inexpensive redwood product.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Rockie I found what I want for a good price!
I bought 8 and I like them very much. They match the fence and jacuzzi. I lined them with plastic instead of putting the dirt directly into them to preserve the wood longer. Good price for the size.
