These tiles and others are ideal for ceilings. They are easy to install and cut with ease to fit any configuration. They are very lightweight and can be glued into place. There are straight run and corner piece connectors to give a flawless, professional look when completed.

As long as you can seal ALL edges and overlaps that should keep the condensation out. A clear silicone adhesive from any paint dept./hardware store will do job. Plus, a few colored screws can easily be hidden in the design or in the corners

Hello Lesleyt! Thank you for your question! Once you have your backsplash installed, the panels can be cleaned with soap and water only. Any harsh abrasives will damage the finish on the tiles. For this reason, we normally do not recommend installing our panels inside a shower or bathtub. As long as our panels are not exposed to certain shower and bathtub cleaners, they are able to be used around the outside or above a shower. For additional protection in high traffic areas (outside of tub or above shower) we recommend applying a silicone sealant for moisture resistance. This will ensure quality protection for years to come. Feel free to contact customer care for installation tips and troubleshooting (800.434.3750). Read Less

Answer:
The back of a kitchen stove will never get hot enough to do damage to your wall. Imagine all the kitchens that would be on fire everyday. Put your hand back there..ain't no big deal. But, a stove should NEVER be "up against the wall". Just like a refrigerator, air circulation helps cool things down.

Hello! Thank you for your question! Even though the backsplash panels are fire-retardant, they can be deformed by excessive heat (over 140 degrees Fahrenheit). The panels can be installed above or behind most stoves. Be sure to keep direct heat sources – toaster ovens, cooking burners, etc., a minimum of 3 inches away from the backsplash panel’s surface.

The product is lightweight but, there weren't enough contact points with the design we bought. Goop dries pretty fast so do a dry run just to be ready. Read Less

Rated 4.5 out of 5 by 14 reviewers.
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by LOVE IT!!!! I was looking for an inexpensive but attractive way to update my kitchen back splash area. I found these tiles, which look like old fashioned pressed metal tiles, and fell in love. They were easy to cut with a heavy duty kitchen shears and easy to install. This was a great way to make my tired kitchen look updated, fresh and brighter. February 3, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Looks great in the ceiling of our bathroom I know this is backsplash product used mostly in kitchens, but when we saw this tin-looking product we thought it might look good as a ceiling in our bathroom in our Wyoming mountain home. It actually looks great and was so easy to install using glue and staple gun brads. The product cut easy with scizzors. It looks like the metal ceiling we wanted. April 12, 2014
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Great Great product. Very easy to install. Slightly harder to make right when cutting to fit opening but great overall April 7, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Love this product When I had my kitchen remodeled they made a mess of the back splash. I have been looking for something to cover up the mistake and I found this product while watching tv one evening. I just love it. It makes the kitchen look all together different. My husband and I put up the product together and we didn't even have any problems. It goes up easy and looks amazing. I would recommend this product to anyone who is looking for an inexpensive way to make your kitchen look amazing. It really looks like the tin that you see in older houses. Love, love, love it. Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Looks nice, if you can get it to stay put I really love the look of this product -- many people think I've installed real tin in my kitchen. However, the adhesion is a problem. I started with the tape that is sold with the product, but had 5 panels fall off the wall within a month of installation. I then turned to the glue that is sold with the panels. They are staying on the wall, but the edges are already starting to work loose. I may have to go to Krazy Glue! January 3, 2012
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Looks like real tin. I wanted to install a backsplash in my kitchen but could not afford to hire someone to install tile. I saw this product and decided to give it a try. I was able to install it by myself! It was very simple and went up in no time at all. I am so pleased with this purchase. December 11, 2013
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by looks good in the K its just plastic and the cost is really high. But, I promised the wife before looking at the price. Makes our 1930 kitchen look MUCH better. OR it might be the other $10,000 we put into it. Looks good! February 18, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Perfect!! Recently updated our kitched backsplash with this product. It can be installed by anyone. My only suggestion to whoever installs the product is to get heavy duty scissors to save wear-and-tear on your hands. The end result is a professional-looking installation and we've received many compliments. I would use this product on any future remodal! September 16, 2009
