Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Kingspen Chem Dry is Simply the Best!
This product works better than any other product around. Most leave any oily residue that is very ugly on carpet. If you use Chem Dry you MUST follow the directions, but if you do you will be very pleased. I have spilled red wine in the same spot 3 times and it has completely come out all 3 times. You may need to use a whole can while doing it but it really works. PS My carpet is off white!!!! The only complaint that I have is that while Home Depot owned Chem Dry a case was only around $79.00. Since selling the Chem Dry brand the price of a case has doubled which is outrageous.....

Best spot remover you can buy, it has gotten polish, greasy oil. pet stains and everything else we've spilled on the carpet, out. Well worth the money!

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by cathouse great product, hard to buy! And now the price triples since May!
I have used this product for several years. It is great for pet stains such as hairballs, and "accidents." I have never had a stain it did not at least improve, if not totally and quickly remove. Purple chokecherry stain mashed into white carpet? Not a problem! It also does not leave a residue to attract new stain materials after it dries.
So why is it so hard to buy? Used to be available in single and triple packs. Now only in 12 can cases, and the price has more than tripled since I sent some to a friend in May. Someone trying to run them out of business?

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by SillyRabbit Hard to write a fair review due to price gouging
Great product that we have used for about 15 years. But there is some serious price gouging going on. I bought a case (12 cans) online from HD in April 2013 for $40 Today, that exact product is $160. SERIOUSLY??? This does seem to be the price everywhere that I have found online, including Amazon. Between ~$12 (if you're lucky) to $15 per can. Sorry, but I will be switching to another product.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by RugDoctor Absolutely Nothing Like This Stain Remover - The Best Thing Since Bars of Soap Were Invented
My wife found this product over 10 years ago at some wierd outlet store. I was AMAZED at how well it got spots out of our rugs, no matter what the cause of the spot. This stuff is a house cleaning innovation. I have even used it on our white cotton fabric couch for chocolate stains and the like. It became such a staple part of our house cleaning that I became desperate when it was not available commercially anymore. At first I was able to get the local professionals to sell it to me (so that shows you who uses it as well.) But when that option dried up, I've been going for the last couple of years without. Finally I found it available again through Home Depot. I want to personally thank Home Depot for making my life easier again.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by PAR7512 This product is like a miracle!
My female dog and a terrible accident all over my house the other nite & I just so happen to have 1 brand new can of this product which I had never used before. I thought what the heck I'll try it. It worked like a miracle, Very easy just spray & rub out. I am telling you this stuff is great. You can't even tell anything happened. I only wished I had more than 1 can. Now I have ordered a case of this great product. I would also like to know why it is not sold in stores? Absolutely great! You saved my carpet/home. Thanks very much

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by jfkadlec Wonderful spot remover
Unfortunately, this product is no longer on the shelf at our Home Depot.
We used the carbonated spot remover prior to anything else since it will get the water soluble spots. If the carbonated one didn't get the spots, we then would let the carpet dry and progress on to the other type of spot remover for oil and grease. However this one would usually get everything. If it didn't the companion one for oil and grease would finish the job.
It is a great product. It is a shame that Home Depot doesn't stock it locally.
