As it was mentioned earlier, these cabinets are not for a kitchen remodel. I needed some storage in my laundry to replace the wire shelf. Added bead board to the front and on the side, plus a trim , painted and they turned out pretty good. Oak is very grainy, so to paint these cabinets smooth, you have to put some time in it, but it worth the effort. Added some crown molding on top and handles on the doors, and it has a pro cabinet look for a much less price.

I wouldn't recommend remodeling an entire kitchen with these. But, if you need to add some quick and easy storage to a laundry room, utility room, garage, etc., you can't beat these! Our laundry room is unfortunately small due to space and structural limitations. It also pulls double duty as a pantry. But we made the best use of the space that we could by adding a wall cabinet and a (different type/manufacturer) base cabinet and countertop. The smart design allows hanging in either direction. The shelf clips are a little stubborn, but definitely hold the shelf in place. In summary, for the price, the ease of use, and the convenience of additional storage, you can't go wrong!

Installed a total of 8 various unfinished oak cabinets in my home office space. The main structure is wood-chip board; finished inside with a contact paper type of finish. Only the face frame & doors are oak. The joinery of the cabinets is ok. Good for a rental house but maybe not the "best" choice for a high-end kitchen. I finished mine in a Deft Semi-Gloss Lacquer.
A few things I found to be common with almost all 8 of the various cabinets I bought. Excess glue on the inside - There were drips and runs inside all 8 of my cabinets. Not a big deal since it peels away with a little work. Rough sanding marks - 5 of the 8 I bought had deep, rough sanding marks in the face frame that took considerable time to sand out smooth enough to finish with a Lacquer. This cabinet had "worm holes" or "termite holes" on the lower corner of the face frame. Had to fill with some wood filler & additional finish time. Like other cabinets, this one too had rough sand marks cross-grain on the face frame.
Finishing the cabinets takes a little time if you plan to have a natural wood look. I started with a 220 grit sanding & finished with a 320 grit prior to application of deft Semi-Gloss Lacquer. I hand sanded between coats at 800 grit. Three coats on the frames & 4-5 on the doors makes them look pretty good for a "value priced" cabinet.
Cabinet features 1 adjustable shelf. Subtract 3" from width & height for clearance on the inside of the cabinet. This was critical to me for my intended use.
Overall, these are a good value but expect to put some time & effort in the finishing process to achieve a good look. If the sides will be visible, you will need to purchase trim kits or it will look like wood-chip board.

The only hard wood is the door and front trim, everything else is a cheap particle board. The hardwood panels in the doors rattle around and the trim is so roughly cut that some areas could not be sanded out and had to be filled. When picking them up, we had to sift through multiple cabinets in order to find one that was not beaten or busted. Even after that, we got them home to find some of the pieces such as the back mounting rails were missing. My advice is to buy something else, but if you do go with them, CAREFULLY inspect every one. We did our entire kitchen in them so time will tell if they hold up but we are not expecting much.

There were assembly glitches. Could have purchased solid wood for less at other businesses.

These are excellent affordable, nice looking cabinets! I bought 2 of the wall cabinets to make a slender buffet in my space challenged dining room. We added furniture legs to the front, mounted the backs to the wall, and a solid surface top to make them look like a piece of furniture. They added much needed storage in my small condo. Now I am going to buy 2 more for the dressing area in my bathroom...The oak exteriors can be stained or painted. I highly recommend them.

This cabinet was perfect for the spot beside my new wall range hood. It finished well and is of a quality you would expect for the price.
