Product Overview

Mimicry, "Living Stones," are succulents that mimic the rocks of their native environments as a survival technique. In addition, these plants would be found nearly buried to escape the strong African sun as a method of survival. Succulents are easy to care for, require less water than traditional house plants, and add interest to any environment. Varieties will vary.

I have grown chicks and hens outdoors for many years and want to add some other types of succulents as well. I have always left them outside during the winter and am not sure if the mimcry plant will survive outside as well. Any information would be helpful.

Answer:
These can NOT be left outside in winter. Sempervivums "hens and chicks" can be grown outdoors in zone 5 and some even as low as zone 3. The mimicry plants all should be protected from any frost and shouldn't even be exposed to temperatures below 40F if possible.

Answer:
This is because the store most likely does not have the product in stock at the time. I would try looking at another store and see if they have it in stock.

"Lithops [also known as Living Stones] is a genus of succulent plants in the ice plant family, Aizoaceae. Members of the genus are native to southern Africa." https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lithops
The top plant is a lithops, however I am not sure about the other two.

Rated 4.3 out of 5 by 10 reviewers.
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Succulent Success! Planted succulents in a beautiful concrete statue birdbath, and have only had to water twice all summer! Id love to add a photo! July 10, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Cute! I bought these plants to give out as thank you gift favors on my wedding day. They are very cute and easy to take care of however I did not like the packaging as to how they were sent they were individually wrapped up in brown paper and when I unwrapped each paper most the dirty fell out of the pot when I received them they did in deed need to be watered cause the soil very dry. April 13, 2016
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by They don't last Every succulent plant that I bought potted by Altman's Plants and sold at Home Depot lasted no longer than two to three months, and then either rotted away, or shriveled into nothing. I've raised cacti and succulents for years in my younger day, and wanted some plants to have grown already. However, even with minimal watering, and strong light during the day (not sunlight), they fail. Lithops would grow, split, and then die. Not good at all! Spend your money more wisely! Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Very Pleased with purchase! My succulents came in healthy and thriving. I have had them for about six weeks and they are still beautiful and thriving outside! I have used them in a fairy garden! July 1, 2014
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by nice plants The plants arrived in good condition and seem to be thriving. Easy ordering. June 10, 2014
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by very small I purchased these 4 months ago. They were 50% smaller than the picture shown online when they arrived. But, it grew almost to be the size of the picture now. No complains for the price. They are very cute! January 20, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by excellent The plants came well preserved. They do need extra love and care in the beginning. They are unique-couldn't find them in store so I decided to shop on line for them. Great price!!!! June 8, 2012
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Great for those w/o Green Thumb! These succulents are excellent - a really nice size to cluster in one indoor planter. They need extra TLC in the first few weeks of re-planting due to shipping. September 20, 2011
