Product Overview

Shaker Style Raised Garden Boxes, 2 Ft. x 5 Ft. Plant Container Beds; Designed by Amish Hands. The American Shaker tradition of building with hand tools is something to admire. The advantage of self reliance is revealed by this craft. These exceptionally strong fittings are designed by Amish hands for customers of Earth Solutions, proving again that it is possible to do more with less. Save your energy for tending your beds with these Shaker Style Raised Garden Boxes. Garden Container Beds improve plant performance in the garden. By elevating plants in containers above the ground, soil remains loose packed and easy for plants to take root and receive water and nutrients. Create an organic garden, even if your ground is not organic, by growing plants in container beds filled with organic topsoil and compost. For additional organic nutrients (non-chemical fertilizers), consider adding mushroom compost, granite dust, compost tea and or worm castings. Customer Reviews

2 Ft. x 5 Ft. Shaker Style Raised Garden Beds-DISCONTINUED is rated 3.3 out of 5 by 3.
Rated 3 out of 5 by from It is good for limited space I encountered serveral broken boards although I got on live chat with home depot and they are very willing to send me out new ones it just means I have to wait to plant. From what I see it is shaker like. It isn't made by the amish who are very good at their work and try to do it right. It is a cheap(or not so cheap imitation of shakers. Beware. I might be just as good to but your own lumber and cut and drill your own.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Just what I wanted These are wonderful for people who do not have the skills to construct boxes. They have a smooth finish on the outside. They fitted together in no time flat. I am quite happy with my purchase.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from clever design, thanks to the Shakers . . . . . . but construction is imprecise, with splintered surfaces, and is it requires addition of a fitted base for use on a deck. On the pricey side for what you get.
