Rated 5 out of 5Â by granola Bright, great in candle mode
These flashlights are very bright, as noted in other reviews. But here's a great additional feature: remove the front part (containing the reflector), and you reveal a tiny bright LED shining equally in all directions! Stand it on a table and you have a great "candle" light. Traditional LEDs shine in one direction, and you need weirdly shaped reflectors to try and spread the light around for candle-style illumination. Not here.

Rated 5 out of 5Â by Flashaholic Great Value! Closer to 250 lumens than 100 Lumens! 3 hour runtime.
These 2 lights are EXTREMELY bright! The packaging and specs are a little misleading/confusing. The packaging says 100 lumens and a 7hr runtime (350 mah calculated draw ). The site says 100 lumens 3hr runtime (doesn't work mathematically). This is brighter than the Coast 210 lumen light I have, and these lights have a Cree XB-D led driven at a measured 1.1 amps. According to Cree, this should be around around 250 lumens and this looks about right. With 3 AAA batteries at around 1000 mah each, that gives 3 hours of runtime. This is a great price for 2 250 lumen lights, but don't expect 7hrs of runtime, 3 is about all you will get.

Rated 5 out of 5Â by ashok Excellent for the price!
Great product. 100 lumens is plenty for most purposes. easily available AAA batteries. Solid construction.
I think it is the perfect size - sits stable on the floor.
Only con is it does not come with a lanyard.

Rated 5 out of 5Â by Bullwinkle Hands down best deal of the year!
This 2-pack of flashlights is BY FAR the best deal of the holidays this season; in fact, it's the best deal I've seen in quite a long time PERIOD. Home Depot has hit a home run with this one. Grab one quick, they're sure to sell out fast.
The aluminum construction seems solid & durable, and the light is plenty bright for most needs (and too bright for some). I disagree with the other reviewer who claims these lights are closer to 250 lumens than 100, but I'm no expert. My Walther Tactical Pro LED (170 lumens) is brighter than these lights; however, these lights are a little brighter than my Surefire G2L's (80 lumens), so I believe the 100 lumen rating is accurate. Either way, they're bright enough to easily light up a pitch black garage.
These aren't "tactical" lights--nor are they advertised as such--so don't mislead yourself in that regard. They are exactly what I was looking for, though... i.e. a bright, inexpensive, good quality, general purpose flashlight to stick in the car and the workbench drawer. I couldn't be happier, though of course time will tell with respect to durability and reliability.
The only improvement I can suggest is that it would have been nice to have a low-power mode also (e.g. 15-20 lumens low, 100 high). I personally would also prefer that it ran on a CR123A battery instead of 3 AAAs so that it was compatible with my tactical lights, but that's just me. I threw the packaging away and don't remember if these are waterproof to 1m or not; I don't believe they are, so that would have been nice also. Others have suggested a lanyard would be nice, and I myself would like to see a removable pocket clip or belt case. As I write all these criticisms, however, I have to chuckle to myself because not only am I nitpicking here, but let's get back to reality for a second. You're getting TWO nice quality 100-lumen flashlights, and batteries, for under $10! Nitpick away if you must, but this deal simply can not be beaten anywhere.

Rated 5 out of 5Â by Ghost3235 Quite bright
Very bright light and solid construction. Similar flashlights are around $20 each, looking on both Amazon and at Walmart. Flashlight is as bright as my $25 LED Maglite, although doesn't shine as far (who really needs a flashlight for over 10 meters anyways).
