Will this piece allow me to connect a 1.5" pvc to a 2" pvc pipe and slightly bend to properly go to drain source without causing any leaks?

It depends on the angle of the bend. if it is too severe, the openings will deform to the point of not creating a tight seal. What angle of deflection is required? What is the length of existing pipe (on either or both sides) that can be cut to accommodate a this coupler AND a sweep or elbow that will compensate for the slight bend? Is the flow direction going from large to small or small to large?
