Answer:
Tluz5, You can cut it, just remember you will want to get at least 6-8 wraps around the hose to ensure that it is water tight. Also, once opened FiberFix begins to cure. You won't have much time to work with it. I would recommend cutting it before you submerge it in water and then submerge each individual piece in water one at a time. This will give you a little more time to use the FiberFix before it Read More

Hi,

Is it me or the newer the review the worst rating this product appears to be? I have a drippy copper pipe leaking that I cannot see where the hole is but I know the area where it leaks from... I see a comment where this product does not work on copper pipe?

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Better than expected I bought this for a small fix that wouldn't be fixed simply with glue, my headphones. I only needed a small amount but after 25 minutes it was so tough that I could sand it. It's a strong bond. I could see how this would great on larger projects like ducting a shovel. I'm amazed by how strong the is. October 25, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by FiberFix is Amazing!!!! The handle of my wood splitting mall was shot. Time to buy a new mall - ugh. They are expensive and don't last long. I asked a clerk about repair possibilities and was pointed to FiberFix. Wow!!! I was amazed how easy it was to use and how strong it is. I'm swinging again and saved a ton of money! August 23, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Valspar paint color I needed a metal paint in a color to match a latex wall paint, a light green. Home depot had three almost matching colors to choose from, while no other store had anything close. September 6, 2016

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Worked Great Had to repair a hole in an air hose. Used this as a temporary repair over the weekend. Boom, has been on over a month with no problem. June 28, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Works great! Bought this thing not thinking it would perform near as well as advertised. I had a broken broom handle that was snapped in 2 pieces after running it over!!! Got this stuff wet and wrapped it up and now the broom handle stronger than it ever was. Highly rev comb June 9, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Solid repair I was skeptical that a tape could actually create a solid repair. We have an old wood (but excellent) drying rack for clothes. The rods are not too thick, so when one snapped, I could not find anything to really make it perform as the original unbroken rod. Everything I tried allowed too much flex. Then I stumbled upon Fiberfix while looking for something else at a HD store. Thought I could give it a try. Wow! The fix is as solid as the original wood. And after drying, there is no residue; I can put clothes over the tape with no fear of stain or coloration. And it was easy to apply. I would recommend to start with a tighter wind (directions say start loose), at least for my application. March 11, 2014
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by This is GARBAGE I bought this from a recommendation for a Home Depot employee to fix a hole in my copper water pipe in my wall. I was not comfortable using a torch and asked if they made something else. He suggested this product and said "it's supposed to harden like a cast". I read the box and it said right on there that it "hardens like steel". I was not able to wrap it the 8-10 times that it recommends because of where the pipe was located but I did wait the max amount of time and tried to wrap it as tight as possible. I even applied direct pressure to where the hole was and had my wife turn on the water and it leaked from everywhere. Now I am thinking that it hardens like steel so how am I going to get it off. I cut the pipe with a sawsall to put a shark bite connector on it and I was able to remove the tape like I was removing a Band-aid. I might as well have lit $8 on fire in front of me. Total garbage, don't waste your money. April 12, 2016
