Answer:
The pins fit great in the socket on my microwave light fixture. They seem sturdy but not too large to work.

Answer:
Yes, the pins are thicker by about a millimeter -- sufficient to not allow the bulb to fit into the socket/contacts

Rated 3.8 out of 5 by 24 reviewers.
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Best bulbs for garden lights I've tried numerous brands of halogen bulbs for outdoor garden lights and these are the best. October 4, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Nice, well worth buying Easy to install. Price is right considering the life of the idem. I am very happy with this product. Brightened up my kitchen, and I like the fact low voyage. September 20, 2016
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by replacement bulb it works fine and the cost was as expected. bulb will eventually burn out and there are no other options. no LED or long lasting or brighter ones August 23, 2016
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Not well packaged and wrong wattage ranges I bought several of both the 10W and 20W versions of this bulb. I was replacing ones in a set of fixtures in a condo I had purchased. So, of course, I didn't have the replacement bulb numbers and the existing bulbs were no help. The 10W turned out to be too dim, and the 20W too bright and quickly burnt out. One bulb arrived DOA and the other one's tip broke off in trying to open its packaging. Have since found 15W versions that are LED's (and hence lower heat and power draw) than these Halogen versions from another source. March 8, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Quick change from halogen The lights are a quick and easy item to switch. They have worked well so far and the quality of light is very good. May 10, 2016
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Pins not perfect Something is wrong withe the pins. They don't make good contact with the power, so sometimes the unit lights and sometimes not. April 13, 2016
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Nice Stove Top Illumination This bulb lights my stove top and is mounted in a microwave/exhaust fan built in above stove. The lighting is good and stays on 100% of the time. September 22, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by A light bulb that does its job! What can one say about a light bulb that works? That it does, is bright, is expensive, and hopefully will last as long as the last bulb did (about 6 years). May 26, 2015
