This kind of washable filters doesn't do the job well. It is not easy to wash. you probably end of spending more $$$ on water then filter itself. just buy use and throw filter instead.

Filters well. Can be cut to fit. Washable let it dry completely before reinstalling. Saves money on buying filters.

Much sturdier than regular disposable air filters.

I have been using this reusable filter for ten years and only recently needed to replace it. The new filter is constructed of improved materials and even better than the one it replaced. All you have to do is remember to clean it once a month and it keeps on saving you money.

This product does not have a snug fit within the filter area and rises when the central air turns on.
When the central turns off, it falls onto the a/c filter grill. The rising and falling is constantly making a claking noise, due to filter hard plastic hitting the a/c metal. After a month of rising and falling the grill finally gave out and fell to the ground and is now bent and unable to latch back into place.
Appears to filter air nicely, but the rising and falling of the filter is a problem, will return today.

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Jerdmann Seemed like a good idea but...it chokes air flow too much!
We live in South Florida, I purchased the washable filter 4-23-15 the first month was OK (when it was cooler) but during June this filter (even washing it every two weeks) chokes the air-flow so much the A/C can't keep up. When I took the filer out today (after just cleaning it) the temperature started to drop but with it in the unit ran for hours with the thermostat set to 78 degrees but the temperature climbed to 81 degrees!
The idea of saving money on filters is good, but if the a/c can't keep up you will spend more on electricity and be uncomfortable. Changing to a good quality fiber pleated filter will save money & keep you more comfortable so it's a no-brainier!
This might be ok if you don't live in a hot climate but , in Ft. Lauderdale it doesn't work!

These filters only last about 2 months then they fall apart, I couldn't save it so I had to throw it away. Not a very good product
