Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Norm Very nice star.
It was the perfect size to use with my outdoor nativity set.
It is listed for use both indoors and outdoors. However for outdoor use it filed with water during the first rainstorm we had and the bulb cracked. Had to replace the bulb (no big deal) but wound up putting a small dab of silicone caulk around the entry point of the wire to keep the rain out of the inside of the star in the future

One of the best purchases I've made! The star is a perfect size, easily visible from the street but not overpowering. The 25 watt bulb gives it a wonderful glow without being glaringly bright.
It took me one or two tries to understand that the pieces needed to be 'twisted' rather than 'snapped' into place to make installation easier, but the assembly was very smooth after that and it was completed in just a few minutes. The price was extremely reasonable as well. My daughters love it, too, and I've gotten several compliments from neighbors.
Would definitely purchase again without hesitation if needed!

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Toby Looks incredible outside! Try with LED lamp!
I use it outside just sitting in the grass with the power feed point down to reduce rain infiltration. Also switched to a standard candelabra nightlight lamp, then to 3 watt LED lamp with spectacular results! Now looking for a color-changing lamp like Philips HUE small enough to fit in... You really don't need the 15W that comes with it. A fraction of wattage does the job with a very elegant result. Note: the frame is rather brittle. You really have to handle with care. But it is easilly repairable with acrylic/styrene solvent - not easilly found, but search for it... I supose you could even permanenly fuse the points to the frame to really add strength and secure against rain - except the oint that holds the lamp of course! I also added small "weep holes" with my Dremmel near the points that face downward that might also collect rain. P.S. For those unfamiliar to the design, it's called a Monrovian Star for it's eastern European roots. Lot's of history for the kids on that...

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Rita I LOVE THIS!
I've wanted a beautiful, large star for ages and finally found it! I was really excited to find this star at Home Depot and am thrilled with the purchase. Everyone who sees it wants to know where I got it. It shows up as brilliant white and is stunning. Thanks Home Depot for making this available to us! It arrived quickly and in excellent shape.

I love this star. It is really a nice size. Can be seen from the road in front of my house. It looks great hanging from the porch eaves.
What a great product. It's bright also .

Bought this first 3 years ago to hang over my outdoor nativity. After Christmas we hung it on our back porch and we love it there. We place another nativity under it at Christmas and admire it from our dining room. Bought a second last year for the front but didn't put it away carefully and it got broken. This year we'll put it up on the other side of our back porch after Christmas and buy yet another next year. Be sure and pack it carefully if you put yours away......
