Does NuTone 8210 works efficiently to exhaust humidity in a small bathroom. My bathroom is 5x8 sq. ft. and accumulates humidity a lot and very quick.

This is a high CFM fan, so if you don't mind that it makes a bit more noise than smaller fans, it would work well.

Answer: 
The Homedepot had the 7" duct needed for this item. They did not have the connector I needed. The did have the elbow necessary. I vented out of a soffit which was a pain but you can vent straight out the roof.

Answer: 
The vent is 7" so keep that in mind. I doubt you are replacing a fan that had a similar size.

I use it to remove fumes from my workshop, and to bring in outside air when that would make the garage more comfortable. The fan is a little noisy, but in the workshop it is not as noisy as my power tools. This fan, along with the exterior wall insulation I added, might obviate the need for a full AC system in the garage. I'm very pleased! October 4, 2016

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0��by Restroom exhaust fan replacement for church Fan was about 1/2" larger in diameter than the original fan I was replacing so I had to cut the hole in the ceiling out a little larger. Second problem was the height of the electrical box on the side of the fan. The fan is made to fit in a hole in 1/2 to 5/8" sheetrock ceiling hole. My ceiling is 5/8" sheetrock plus 3/4" ceiling tiles. I had to cut out a square hole under the electrical box and remove the sheetrock from the tile and figure out a way to patch the hole so it doesn't look so bad. My repair would not satisfy me if I was paying for it but people in a small church are pretty understanding. The electrical box has plenty of room to be moved up an inch or two when manufactured. Wish the manufacturer would make the adjustment. November 3, 2015

It was used to replace an older model from the same manufacturer and we were able to replace the necessary parts and keep some of the original parts for appearance purposes.
