Answer:
Other reviewers indicate that it isn't really a brushed nickel at all, and I agree. It is a matte silvery-gold. I have shiny chrome faucets and light fixtures, above and below and it all goes together.

Answer:
Sorry, not even close to brushed nickel, more of a dusty gold color. It is a very attractive color and my wife thought the color went beautifully with all the brushed nickel changes she had me make to the bathroom. (light fixtures, faucets, wall plates, etc.) She thought it gave a very suttle color break.

I ordered the item and it was indeed more gold than most other brushed nickel items so I returned it.

Answer:
Apologies, but we are located here in the main office and this is an online only item, so we are not able to view the item in person to advise on this.
The finish is brushed nickel, but if you do not like the item after purchase, you can easily return to your local store with the print out of your order confirmation.

Answer:
With everything including the carton and packing materials, I would say this weighs close to 30 lbs. The box is large and awkward, but I could certainly lift each ( I bought 2) and bring them to my bathroom.

Answer:
They provide a kit with mirrors so that when it is all installed with the side mirrors on it, that is what you would see. They are easy to install.

Answer:
When surface mounted there are mirrors that attach to both sides so the actual sides of the cabinet do not show.

24 in. W x 29 in. H Framed Recessed or Surface-Mount Bathroom Medicine Cabinet in Gold is rated 3.7 out of 5 by 18.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from We painted it - love the interior mirror! Awful, awful, AWFUL directions for installation. . . . but you'll figure it out! Once you do, it's not difficult (we recess mounted it). The mirror frame is plastic - not metal - so we painted it to match our vanity and I am very happy with the result! I would not consider it a match for brushed nickle fixtures at all, as it was slightly gold/brown toned . . and plastic. It's a great size and the inside is mirrored on the backside as well. Neat!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Really needs to be recessed This is a very pretty light gold mirror. We purchased it for a powder room makeover, but ultimately returned it because it just really looked odd surface mounted. If you can recess it, it's great, there are trim pieces to be installed to hold it out just a bit from the wall, so you can properly open the door.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Do not buy if you want brushed nickel! It is a beautiful mirror and good quality. However, it is not brushed nickel as it is described. It is more gold tone than silvery. I wouldn't mind the color, but I have redone the entire bath and changed every fixture from gold to brushed nickel, including the door knobs. Since this mirror sits between the brushed nickel faucet and the brushed nickel vanity light (which match each other perfectly) it is a real disappointment that this doesn't match. I wish I had been abke to find one in the stores and didn't have to order it sight unseen. Also one of the tempered glass shelves was chipped in a corner. I just turned it to the back. I would return it if it hadn't been installed already.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Not happy. Not happy because the product said satin nickel. I have purchased many satin nickel things. This one came brown. Don't know what to do. Don't purchase if you want satin nickel 'color' as it is not. If you want brown with satin nickel finish, go for it. It is a quality product.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Beautiful I only bought it because of all the reviews of the color. I have everything with brushed nickel, but also a little gold and brown and this mirror/cabinet goes beautiful and gives it a rich look. It's unique and different and I love it, but definitely NOT brushed nickel. I will attach pictures if i can finally get them uploaded

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Not silver at all The mirror was very pretty and would have been lovely in my bathroom if it was actually silver. It was NOT. The mirror was a dirty gold color. I purchased two as the bathroom has a double vanity. Both mirrors were the same color. I was disappointed the color was not as described.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Beautiful medicine cabinet....... I bought two of these to replace two oval mirrors and create storage, where there was none. They are beautiful, but I have a couple of caveats as other reviewers had. The installation instructions don't mention removing the door for easier installation, but going with what I read made it easier. However, for a surface mount, one needs to drill for the wall anchors if not into studs. There is zero mention of the size bit needed for this. One also could use a hammer. I didn't use the provided anchors and chose to use screw-in instead after initially drilling. My second caveat is the magnet on one, as the door keeps popping off the hold of the magnet, which is very annoying and concerning, as it seems like it wants to swing too far open. My husband and I love the way they look and I got a lot into them and off the vanity counter.
