Answer:
You'd be painting directing on to particle board. You'd probably want to purchase the side panels, nail and glue them on, and paint them.

Answer:
That would be a simple change. Remove two screws, holding the hinges to the frame, turn the door over, square everything up, reinstall the 2 hinge screws.

24x34.5x24 in. Base Cabinet in Unfinished Oak is rated 2.7 out of 5 by 12.
Rated 3 out of 5 by from Ok cabinet This cabinet was available quickly and will do for my kitchen. It is pretty light weight and drawer doesn't pull smoothly. Drawer front isn't beveled so it's hard to get a grip to open. Inside drawer rail was bent. Drawers do not fill the depth of the cabinet- about 6 inches shorter- was a surprise.

When we got rid of our freezer, I bought this and the 15" version to put in the "hole" because I needed a pickled finish, and was too lazy to build my own. I did not want to bother with the face frame and doors. I ordered the cabinets online and expected them to be about the same quality as our existing builder's grade cabinets. Instead, they are blocked with cheap plastic staple ons. While I certainly did not expect dovetailed drawers, I did expect the drawers to be assembled with a corner lock. Instead, they are simple boxes which are glued side to end and are not the depth of the cabinet. The back facing is stapled to the particle board back about 5" from the top. The door and drawer edges are rough. I had to reroute them to get a smooth edge. The interior shelves are only 10" deep, so I had to jig in another hole near the front and then cut and face new 3/4" plywood shelves. The bottom line here is that I might as well have built them myself as ultimately, it would have been about as much work and I would have had far superior cabinets. I am building the upper cabinets myself. If you want to go the prefab route, I would definitely suggest checking out several sources before you purchase.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Not worth the hassle Veneer sides too thin and pit/peel. Drawers attached with staples and plastic -- easily broken and replacement parts hard to get. In fact, I still have not found the parts, therefore one drawer is not usable. And, the drawers that are usuable are hard to pull both in and out. Beware!!!

Rated 2 out of 5 by from A little attention to detail would be nice... It asked if I would recommend these cabinets. I responded with a "yes", but there are some conditions.. You certainly DO get what you pay for. With as much as goes into making these cabinets, it would be nice of there was a little more attention paid to details such as the plastic ends of the drawer guides. Many of these were broken when I got them to the installation location. Several of the toe kicks and rear braces were broken or the staples had pulled out during shipping. Out of the 6 base cabinets that I purchased, I ended up having to reassemble 4 of them before I could start staining. The doors on one cabinet have a gap that can't be closed by the adjustment screws. It's almost an inch wide. I will end up needing to shim the hinges in order to close it fully. These are acceptable cabinets for the price. I personally won't purchase them again. Based on the frustration caused by broken hardware and the need for reassembly, coupled with the time for staining, I will spend the extra money to get higher quality cabinets next time.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from You get what you pay for. Not terrible for the price, BUT the drawers are garbage! If you take out a drawer(which is nearly impossible with the cheap clips), good luck putting it back in without the ball bearings falling out. If you get it in, good luck ever getting it out again. This is probably why they don't include instructions on how to take out the drawers.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Priced for basic needs I understand this is a less expensive cabinet but the drawer slides were not lined up too well and the drawer fronts were warped some. Doesnt look fully closed when it is - due to the gap created by the slightly warped front. I looked at 6 of these cabinets in stock and picked the best I could find. For the price they are worth it - don't expect perfection.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from product has gone down in quality since I began purchasing them. The drawer bottom is very weak on the 24" base cabinet, maybe a little more reinforcement on the larger drawers would be good, and the hinges are getting cheaper and cheaper.
