Yes! There are two ways to eliminate dawn to dusk lighting. If you simple turn off your light switch and wait 3 second before turning it back on. This will switch you to manual setting and turn off Dusk to Dawn lighting. You can also select setting below Dust to Dawn on your motion sensor's bottom.

I think it works really good. The best detection seems to be left and right of the sensor.
For example, when we drive down our driveway it doesn't pick us up until we're about 30-40 feet in front of it (which could also be related to the angle its pointed in, although I've adjusted it a few times this seems to be as good as it gets).
However, if we so much as peek out the front door (about 50 feet away Read More

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by This light provides an incredibly bright, white light & the motion sensor is VERY accurate even at low sensor. The manual is fairly good with one exception for which their tech person said they would have to add a line. If you want this to be on at full brightness, then do the following: after it has been on for approx. 10 min., THEN turn the power source switch off & back on in a 2 second space....the light will stay on full until turned off. Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Mrhomedepot I put 4 of these unit up around the property and a can't believe how much brighter my yard is. I found 4 deers walking thru the yard after putting them up October 25, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Very adjustable security light The three light panels on this light have a wide possible angles. You can configure for 270 degrees or mix angle with height in special situations. See the pictures attached to the review. This light is equipped with dual bright. You can setup low light to be off, on dust to dawn, or on 3 or 6 hours after activation. See switch picture for other settings. The mounting system that Defiant uses is really nice. A light weight base is mounted and wired. Then the light is screwed to the base. If you have ever mounted a heavy light while trying to wire, this is much easier. April 30, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Highly Recomend!! This product is the VERY BEST that I have ever used! This product is GREAT and would highly recomed it to anyone!! We will be bying 2 more for the sides of our house. I give this light 5 STARS!! October 30, 2016
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Cheap Plastic I removed our old light & while installing this new light ran into problems. The mounting plate has a metal insert to mount the light too. It is made out of soft metal & stripped out with very little pressure from the only screw that holds it together. I had to put a small piece of wire there & turn the screw in slowly to make it hold. Then I sealed around the base & light & I hope it will hold it. I was going to buy another one but this light is so poorly designed. October 18, 2016
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Not good I was very pleased with this light at first. Easy to install, very bright, and liked the dual light feature. One week later the motion sensor, dual feature, light senor all stopped working. All I could use was the light by turning the switch off and on manually. I tried everything from resetting to researching the internet and was unable to get it to work. Returned it to the store and I loose confidence in a product that only works a week so I went to a different brand to try. October 18, 2016
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by brilliant design, terrible QC Brilliant design; terrible QC. Love the design. And truly easy to install compared with other similar lights. And the illumination heads articulate nicely to some truly weird angles to meet our needs. Only design issue is that in the 'low illumination' mode of the Dual Brite, it was, for our use, too bright. Annoying to neighbors. And very little increase in illumination when motion detected. BUT the real problem is their QC from the (Chinese) factory. Of the two of these that we needed and installed, we had to eventually purchase FIVE to get the two we needed. Of the first two, one failed to illuminate after about two weeks. Purchased a replacement. It failed out of the box. Would not turn on when installed on the original base. (We proved it was not the base by installing the operable original on that base.) Returned and purchased two more assuming (correctly) a 50% failure rate out of the box. Likely the day-night sensor. Spoke with CSR both at HomeDepot and at manufacturer. Agreed it was a unit failure. If you want the features of this unit, purchase twice as many as you need and just keep changing the units on the installed base of the original until you find a unit that works. See similar comments for the two head, 180 degree model. September 28, 2016
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Junk. Takes on Water and stays on all night Installed 5 units under eaves not directly in the path of rain. First light filled with water. Reinstalled and made sure the pivot joint was sealed with Silicon. Installed four more with no water issues but has not rained in two weeks. Two weeks later one unit would stay on all night. Replacement does the same thing. 3 out 5 lights are bad. Reviews show Defiant lights have water issues. September 16, 2016
