Howdy Seanisrael,
It's simple. Just take the screws off the bottom.

28 in. Oscillating Tower Fan is rated 3.3 out of 5 by 17.
Rated 1 out of 5 by from Does NOT last a week! I didn't like the fact that Home Depot had the fans cable tied to the rack in the store and you couldn't plug one in to try it. The remedy from the sales person was "If you don't like it, you can bring it back." What about the gas it takes to go back and forth to the store? In desperation, I bought what I thought looked like the best value of their five fans. Not the cheapest at $30. When I plugged it in, I was a little disappointed in the noise of the oscillator so we turned that off. I've had this fan running for three and a half days now and the bearings are so worn out that it's rattling woke me up in the middle of the night. The style is fine but the quality of the product is extremely low. I paid $30 for this fan and it only lasted a few days. I bought two others from Dollar General and they've last over a year so far. Lesson learned. If you can't try it, don't buy it. Do NOT buy this fan.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Nice vertical fan but the jury is still out... The bearings in the motor rattle at times. Makes a sound like coffee brewing. Otherwise, it is a quiet fan. The fan is compact and moves air around nicely. It also oscillates which is a nice touch. I plan to return the one purchased and get another one. My thinking is that this one was a fluke

Rated 1 out of 5 by from shorted out I bought this oscillating tower fan at Phillipsburg, NJ Home Depot and only had used it about 3 times, then when I went to use it again, it shorted out. Of course I don't have the receipt, etc.. any more. It doesn't have the brand name on it and I can't remember now which it was. unless it is a home depot brand? No matter what, I'll throw it out and never buy one again now.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good buy The fan was perfect for my intended reason for purchase. It's great for moving air in my small den and works great in the boys' room as well. For the price, I am quite pleased.
