I have an old Lawn Genie 713 ALG I may have to replace if can't fix with diaphram replacement. The center-to-center measurement between the inlet and outlet ports is 4 3/4 inches. Which valve offered by Home Depot will fit, as this one recommended only 4 1/4?
Asked by: Kim
Lawn Genie model L7034 has a 4” Center to Center dimension. Using two 45 degree slip fittings will get you very close.

the price I saw in the home depot link for this part was $12.97. I went to the web site and the price is over $15.00
Asked by: Dale
I would be happy to answer a question about the product, if there were one. I agree with Dale about the price showing more than $15.00 online. No matter which it is, was or will be, if you need one its worth it to buy one at whatever cost it is and keep a spare on hand if you'll be doing future irrigation work.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Stress Fractures I have six of these and pretty much after a period of time each and every single one developed stress fractures in the bottom where it connects to the threaded pvc pipe. I've had to replace 5 already and now the water to the sprinklers are off until i have time to get to the next one :(

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Flow control is a plus I've had these in the back yard, which are 25 years old and still working, so I decided to get more and were glad when I found out they are built exactly the same. Flow control helps dial in the pressure on spray heads to prevent mist (wasted water). It also helps the valve close in a timely manner when the timer switches stations.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from 12 years and going strong I have had 5 of these valves in place for about 12 years now. After about the 9th year, each season I may need to replace a diaphragm (leaky valve) or solenoid (non-functioning valve through controller) or two, but besides that they are going strong. It is less expensive to by a new valve with a diaphragm and solenoid then to try and find/buy the parts individually.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great product for excellent price These valves work as advertised, I purchased 6 and haven't had a problem at all. They do SEEM to be cheaply built when held next to more expensive brands, but looks can be deceiving. For $12 bucks, awesome value.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Replacement Sprinkler Valve These valves were replacement valves for my sprinkler system. The old valves were over 20 years old and had simply worn out. I replaced with the same brand since the old ones had lasted so long.
