Product Overview

The 3/4 in. SharkBite Push-to-Connect Elbow allows you to make a 90° connection to any combination of 3/4 in. Copper, CPVC or PEX Pipe. SharkBite fittings are the easiest way to join pipe and do not require soldering, clamps, unions, glue or tools to complete the job. Just insert the pipe and the stainless steel teeth bite down and grip tight, while a specially formulated O-ring compresses to create a perfect seal. Disassembly is just as fast using the simple disconnect tool so fittings and valves can be easily changed and reused. They can even be rotated after assembly for easier installation in tight spaces. SharkBite Fittings are certified for potable water supply and hydronic heating applications. Get SharkBite and get a grip on your next plumbing project.

Hi, If you need to connect to an existing galvanized pipe, use http://www.homedepot.com/p/1-2-in-Brass-Push-to-Connect-x-Female-Pipe-Thread-90-Degree-Elbow-U308LFA/202270518. Simply thread the female elbow onto the galvanized pipe and then add the PEX to the SharkBite side of the fitting. Thanks for your interest in our products.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from If you have never replaced a pipe or you're a first time home owner like myself. This product is ... If you have never replaced a pipe or you're a first time home owner like myself. This product is a life saver. I have a torch, flux, and so on and so forth, but as I said I've never really used it them. With the SharkBite products there is no need for torches, flux, anything like that. Simply cut, clean, and place the PUSH to Connect products and your done. At first I was like,"Great, this is gonna cost hundreds if I have to call a plumber." Went to my FAVORITE store ever,,, that would be the Home Depot, picked up some copper pipe, a couple connectors and a new elbow. The entire repair took less then 10 Mins. Plus the wife will thinks I'm a genius. Awesome Product.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best thing since sliced bread... The guy who invented these should be given the Nobel prize in plumbing. These adapters make any plumbing job a DIY job. I had to replace the outside faucet in my house that was all soldered copper connections and these made it a 1 hour replacement job. If I didn't cut my finger on the PEX cutting tool, this job would have been no sweat and no blood.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from upgrade is not great This product has just been upgrated and I believe not that well. I've used this product for years. The older version (through now) was easy on/easy off and water tight. The new one has a smaller profile, which looks nice, and is easy on/water tight. But if for any reason you want to take it off, good luck. I struggled with taking several of these off adjacent pex tubes. It is often the case that you will need to remove a tube, eg, if it is too long or if you need to change your configuration for any reason. If you are doing a bigger job, the main reason to spend so much more than the price of crimping is the flexibilty of reomving the connector from the tube without cutting the tube. In sum, you might as well crimp your tubes if you are going to use this solution, which is, for many, not something they'll want to hear.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Call a plumber or Sharkbite... A co-worker reviewed photos of the supply line to a a hose bib that needed replacing and suggested Sharkbite products. I decided to put two bibs in place of the one and raise them as the original was only 5 inches from the ground. I built the duplex assembly with copper and sweated the connections. I then cut the supply line, installed a coupler, two elbows and done... oops... not quite yet. The Sharkbite elbow could not support the assembly (it allowed it to rotate), so I attached a board to the house and the assembly to it. Everything is leak free! A plumber would have cost me way over the $50 or so I spent.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I am thrilled with the product I am a diyr who has NEVER attempted to fix a burst pipe. The push to connect products are are miracle products. NO SOLDERING! NO leaks If you're a diy er you need to know that if you measure a pipe diameter and it measures 3/4 inches plumbers go by the interior measurement 1/2 (don't buy a 3/4 fitting.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from SharkBite parts worked great Used SharkBite straight and elbow parts to repair a leaky solder joint. I recommend the SharkBite web site to people using SharkBItes parts for the first. The videos are very helpful.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect! Works perfect, as advertised. No leaks after installation. A bit expensive, but overall a great savings over getting PEX tools.
