Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Better then stainless steel If you need a water heater connector go with copper instead of the stainless steel connectors. I have had 2 of the stainless steel leak in about 2 years after they were installed. They both developed pin holes in the lining of the connector and water sprayed all over the place. In the store the workers will tell you they will last forever. They don't. The stainless steel might but the lining does not. July 15, 2014
