Where can I buy a replacement canapy for futon swing?

Yes. See picture below for the information.

Does lay down into a bed?

Asked by: Barker
I wish I would have known is laid into a hammock and not a futon when I purchased it. Yes, it's comfortable for one person to lay on, but my husband and I slide into the middle when we lay together due to the "hammock" style.

Is the canopy adjustable?

Asked by: Snoopy
Yes. You can tilt it to desired position by just grabbing it and moving it. You can feel it "lock" into different positions as you move it.

Is it a bed

Asked by: realguera
Not really a bed but more like a hammock. It doesn't fold down completely flat. It has a slight "v" shape when folded down.

Customer Reviews

3-Person Futon Patio Swing is rated 3.6 out of 5 by 129.
Rated 3 out of 5 by from After Two Years After two years of use: The canopy is the only real problem with this chair. Even a slight wind will blow it around. A good gust will flip the chair completely. The canopy can tear fairly easily and once it does wind will cause the tears to expand. I tried to call the manufacturer to get replacement canopy. They wanted to charge $65.00 for replacement, which is expensive but tolerable. However, they didn't take credit cards and wanted me to send a check to some mystery company in California, which is really horrible. Joe schmoe lawn service guy can accept credit cards with his iPhone but these guys cannot? Anyways other than the canopy the chair has been great. Cleans easy with a light spray from the power washer.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Cushion material is cheap; company won't replace We purchased this swing and canopy two summers ago. After the end of last season (which was the second summer we had it), as I was putting it away, I notice that the material was simply disintegrating. It ripped and crumbled as though it had been sprayed with acid (it had been sprayed with water to clean it, and that's all). When I contacted the company for a replacement, I was told the replacement costs $100. I inquired whether the replacement was the same material, and I was told it was. I explained that the material is not durable enough to last two summers (in the Chicago area, so it's not a long season), and she said they would not make any adjustment since it was out of warranty. I am disappointed with the lack of quality, and the lack of company support for their product. I elected to not buy the replacement. At $100, I would rather apply that toward a new piece of furniture from a better manufacturer that may last far longer.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from looks good but missing parts Unit is what i wanted. Cushions look sturdy, but have to wait a couple of weeks for 4 parts integral to the build. Bad QC.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Not durable We purchased this swing 2 weeks ago and have used it lightly since. Within 4 days the back cushion tore where it is sewn to the frame. At 2 weeks of sitting on it for a few minutes every other day it now has 3 tears. The cushion is sewn onto the frame (not removable) so replacement is impossible. It also seems that sewing the cushion onto the frame creates these tension points that cause the tears when you sit on the cushion and it slides or pulls. Lowe's has a similarly priced swing that also reclines but has removable cushions and is much easier to convert from sitting to reclining. I should have went that route and so should you!

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Not for full sun exposure I purchased this last year... the fabric on the seat ripped in several places before the summer was over. It can't withstand sun exposure.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from poor construction Bought this in June,2016. Putting it together was hard but once i put it all together looked great. Hardly used it for 40 days with mainly my kids and the lower back horizontal bar between the ends broke. The pieces i guess are welded together and it came off from the joints. Very unhappy with the product quality. Spoke to Home Depot and most likely will return though unassembly is going to be a pain.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from NIce but canopy is junk after 3 yrs We bought our outdoor 3 person canopy swing at Home Depot for $ June of 2010. Was very nice for 2 seasons. Now the canopy is rotten. We put this away in garage each winter. The cushions are turning green and I got those cleaned ok. We have to get canopy replaced and it will probably cost half of the cost of the whole swing. For the money, it is ok if you keep it on a covered porch when in use. On a deck, you are at mercy of the sun. It is very light and will blow over in 15-20 mph wind. The canopy acted like a sail and wouldn't lock in place no matter how many times you set it. Just a little more quality and it would be great.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from I love it but... I love the 3-person futon swing when I am sitting in it on a sunny is comfortable and feels sturdy. I really dislike it when I come home to find that it has blown over in a less-than-stiff breeze. I have had to stake it down with pavers in order to keep it upright (bummer). Also, the shade doesn't stay acts as a sail and moves in the wind as well. I will have to figure out a way of jerry-rigging it so that doesn't happen as well. For the price, I am fairly pleased with my purchase...however, I would be even happier if I didn't have to do so much to make it function.
