Answer:
If memory serves me, all the 30 inch units come with a drawer above the doors. This could be removed and used as a sink cabinet. The width will limit you to a single bowl sink or a bar sink though. Additionally you will have to remove the drawer front from the drawer and remount on the cabinet with some blocking.

Answer:
Yes, you can do as the other guys said, but once drawer-front is removed and installed: you can install drawer as roll-out tray in the bottom! So take care in removing drawer hardware.

Answer:
Yes, just as the other guy said except for one thing. A 30" sink base is far more expensive and harder to find in stock than one with a drawer. They will pay you upwards of $100 and give you the drawer if you knock it off and brad nail to the face for them.

Answer:
You would sacrifice the drawer. Shouldn't be too hard--remove drawer, detach front piece, attach front as "false" drawer over drawer-hole. If you can find a 30" sink base, it would probably be cheaper--drawers push up the cost.

Can the depth of these cabinets be reduced? I need to reduce the depth to 18", but don't want to compromise the structural integrity.

Answer:
Yes, the cabinets can be reduced in depth, but I would suggest adding blocking before cutting anything because the cabinets are glued with hot glue and it might start coming apart with the vibration of the saw.
Additionally I doubt you can easily reduce the depth of the drawer. You might be left with removing the front and affixing it to the face of the cabinet.

It is 24 inches deep. I would not try to reduce the depth because I believe that quality is just not there.

Answer:
Hello Remodeler and thank you for your question.
This cabinet cannot be reduced to 18 inches in depth. Our unfinished base cabinets online are 24 inches deep; I suggest contacting a Kitchen Designer at your local Home Depot store for more options and designing an 18 inch deep unfinished base cabinet.
Best wishes on your project.

Answer:
It dose not come with a back. I purchased a tongue and groove wainscoting and installed it on the unit. The wainscoting was a pine, so I painted the unit.

Rated 3.4 out of 5 by 23 reviewers.
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Great cabinets for the price Hard to beat the price and ease of use, even with the minor problems... Returns have always been easy with pieces that are just too messed up... August 6, 2016
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Very upset. I bought these cabinets about 5 months ago and they are good cabinets but they are poorly put together. After 5 months the bottom back left corner is slowly sliding apart and I just realized the back of it is broken. I went to fix my shelf today and realized that the back is slowly pushing out like it is warped. And the bottom corner keeps getting worse. But other than that it is a good product. I have 2 others in my kitchen that are great. October 26, 2015
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by NOT A SINK BASE! I ordered this product after talking online with the Home Depot Live Chat "expert", who assured me that there was NOT a drawer at the top, but that this could be used as a sink base - WRONG! Luckily, my contractor was able to remove the drawer and glue the drawer front on, so that I could use this as a sink base (the other sink bases were not available in this width). Otherwise, I would recommend this as a regular base cabinet - seems durable. However, DO NOT order these online to pick up in the store! I had to return two doors that had marks on them that didn't stain evenly. Go to the store and pick them out yourself to make sure they aren't scratched or dented. July 30, 2014
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Bought during cabinet sale so it was a good value The front of the cabinet is good quality oak, but the rest of the cabinet is cheaply made. I actually bought this cabinet to use it as an island for my kitchen. I knew that I would have to add side and back panels but plastic corners were used inside to hold the cabinet together so I had to replace these as well. All in all I had to do a lot of reinforcing of the original cabinet to make it sturdy enough to last a long time. Be careful transporting it from the store since it might easily break apart. The actual drawer itself also had to be reinforced since it was about to fall apart just by me removing it from the rails. April 1, 2014
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Quality cabinet, great value I purchased this cabinet in January to gain additional storage and work space in my kitchen. The unit will be framed in and painted for use as an island. It was an excellent value. I will keep these unfinished cabitets in mind if i choose to replace the other cabinets in my kitchen. Very pleased with my purchase. March 3, 2015
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by need some work after you get them. You will have to sand these there is no doubt to that. After about 5 hours of sanding the 3 lowers and one upper I bought looked good. They dont seem to take polyshade very well. All it would do for me on these cabinets is glob up. Otherwise not a bad cabinet for the price and if you dont mind a little work. February 25, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Save big $, don't go custom! Converted this cabinet to a sink base for my bathroom remodel. Best part is if I went special order I'd have spent $1200+ to get the exact same cabinets just finished. My wife loves her $300 bathroom vanity I finished myself. Best cabinet deal you'll find if your willing to finish them yourself. Paint is an up charge on special order cabinets and so is everything else. January 20, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by outstanding product This product would be rated higher if the same person didnt leave 2 bad reviews. I find this cabnet to be excellent for the price I am remodeling my whole kitchen and got an estimate of around $8000, so i decited to just do it myself and bout most of the cabinetry myself and have spent (on 3 pieces) less than $405 including tax. I purchased the lazy suzan corner cabnet with this and they fit togehter perfectly im not even finished with my kitchen and already im getting compliments. it solid , sturdy, & reliable all for a great price November 17, 2012
