Answer:
For pin based lighting, the number represented in the lamp type (i.e GY6.35) describes the distance between the pins.
In this case the pins are 6.35mm apart

Rated 4.0 out of 5 by 8 reviewers.
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by phillips filament bulb Bought 3 bulb at the wattage stated on fixture, 2 blew out immediately after turning on, the 3rd one's prong before I could put it in August 9, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by perfect works as it should, light is bright, just what I needed July 14, 2016
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Good although expensive This was easy to install and works fine. I just hope that, for the cost, it does not need replacing too often. This is not exactly an energy efficient lightbulb either. April 20, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by The bulb was easy to insert and has lasted longer than previous brand used. Quality of light bulb is great. I am very pleased with the quality of the bulb and quality gives. I will definitely purchase again. August 4, 2015
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by They provide light I needed these to replace some cheaper bulbs I bought for outdoor light fixtures. They are pricier for sure, but hopefully will last much longer than the discount ones I previously purchased elsewhere. December 30, 2014
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Expensive replacement Bulb Replacement bulb for a kitchen light. Frustating when a replacement bulb costs almost half as much as the light fixture! December 10, 2014
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by They work very well and do not heat up nearly as much as the old bulbs. Looking forward to years of service from each bulb. A bit pricey but it is supposed to last for years. Need to be careful about bulb height or if your lamp shade is an old model that balances on the bulb -- don't think that will work with these. Instant light when I turn the lamp on. Would like to have gotten it in a higher "wattage" but these are sufficient. February 25, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Long lasting bulb This bulb has lasted much better than the lower quality bulbs I purchased over the internet from other retailers. I use these bulbs for the uplights in my landscape lighting. Short term the Philips bulbs are 3x the cost of lower quality ones, but I've never had to change these out. My other bulbs have had to be changed out 3 or 4 times a year. March 19, 2013
