How can I find this in a store

The item says it is out of stock on line but is it available in any store in South Florida?
Asked by: Mel
I had to buy mine on-line as they don't stock it in the store here. I bought one and then a few weeks tried to order another, but it was out of stock on-line. Home Depot does a good job of notifying you via email when the item is back in stock so that you can order right away.

Is the wood weather treated already? Do all of the supplies come in the kit besides hammer and/or drills/

Asked by: Vicki
It is redwood, so it may not need to be treated. However, I used Thompson's Water Seal on mine just to be sure. It could also be easily painted. Everything you need to assemble is in the box.

Customer Reviews

36 in. W x 24 in. D x 32 in. H Rectangle Wood Raised Garden Bed is rated 2.9 out of 5 by 50.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Awesome Garden Bed! This product is great! When I first purchased it I was a little concerned about the reviews. After putting it together I was frustrated because it didn't fit right. After stepping away from it and returning I took another look. I realized that 2 of the bindings were put on. I redid the posts, putting them all together the same way, and everything fit perfectly! I would like to say that maybe the people who didn't recommend this might have had the same problem I did at first. But I definitely recommend this product, it is inexpensive and works great (especially if you have dogs) :)

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Happy with my purchase I read the other reviews after I bought and assembled two of these. I have the exact opposite opinion-I like them and have had no issues. They were not difficult to assemble but I assembled them in 2 halves (one short length and one long length joined), and then joined the two halves. The long side is 3' long, and it just seemed like it would be more stable that way. It is bare wood so I also put Behr wood preservative on the outside so they last longer. I really like that they're raised off the ground to keep the dog out of them and hopefully less bugs (hate em). They look awesome along the wall of the backyard with my new veggie garden growing in them. Very pleased!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best off the ground raised garden bed I've seen I bought this for my mom who shouldn't bend over to garden anymore. I was very pleased at the quality of the wood and the fact that the sides were pre assembled. Very glad the holds we're pre drilled, didn't expect a liner for the bottom, but there was one. The instructions were simple and fortunately I thought through the process befor installing the screws, which were also included. My granddaughter helped me put it together and we had it filled and planted in under an hour. We did go back and cut slits in the plastic to I prove the drainage. Hope I can find this item again next year so I can get one for myself.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Worth the price Yes, the wood is rough, but for the price compared to other brands, this is a good place to start. A couple of recommendations: An electric screwdriver is a must and you might want to pre-drill the holes. Also, you may want to notch the slots on the legs square so that the sides fit better. None if this is required, but I think you will be much happier with the result if you take a little time to complete the assembly. Mine went together fairly easily. I glued all the joints and pieces as well as used the supplied screws. Also, I sealed all the wood with Thompson's water seal. When I got it ready for planting, I added a couple of drainage slots in the plastic liner. I am pretty sure I will be purchasing another one!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from perfect garden for herbs and vegetables I was hesitant after reading some of the reviews on this garden bed...but bought two anyway....so glad I did...they are exactly what I was looking for....my son and I put them together in 20 minutes...directions on the box are great..just follow them and have an electric screw driver handy....a tip..don't tighten all the screws until you lay the boards in...after the boards are in you can tighten them....excellent value....have submitted pictures

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great Starter Bed! I really like this bed...for the look more than the construction. Mine was not so easy to assemble. I didnt understand trying to fit squared/rectangular legs into its round/oblong opening??? I had to sand the corners of the legs to get it to fit. Annndd I had to predrill holes to avoid having the wood split. Anyway...I managed. I painted it, added a little fabric and now I am ready to plant. Can't wait to see how that goes. Overall, I really like the bed!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Works for me For the price this product is great. The directions are vague yes, but in my own opinion you could do without directions by just looking at the picture. I was able to put it together in about 15 minutes. Also, it's perfectly stable I could see it not being stable if you use the screws in the wrong places. There are two lengths of screws the 8 short ones use for the 90 degree supports for the legs. The other ones obviously use for the rest. Great product for the money.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Final product OK, instructions awful. This is an OK gardening table, especially for the price. The pre-drilled holes are not lined up and go to the side of the wood. The important thing for anyone who buys this is to know the legs have a deep cut and a shallow cut to put the sides in. Put the short sides in the deep holes and the long sides in the narrow. Also, separate the short and long screws in advance. The long screws go to the sides and the short screws for the angled wood on the legs (that look nothing like the picture). The instructions are terrible and you can see them on the outside of the box. I had the notch 2 of the table boards (that claim to be notched for me). BTW, put the board with a hole in the center. If you are handy you will be fine, but if you struggle with Ikea directions ( like most) you will be overly challenged here.
