Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by albena67 ACRYLIC MIRROR
I order this for my daughter's ballet room. The package was delivered way after the scheduled delivery time; however, in good condition. The mirror has low quality and I should trust other reviews that it actually distorts the image. I will give it a try for the next month and see if it will serve the purpose but overall, I am not satisfied with it.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by KS Great mirror for my RV
Bought this mirror to dress up a wall in my Travel Trailer to make the small living space appear larger.
Needed a product that would not break and shatter specially during travel.
This acrylic mirror was the perfect size and very easy to mount. I used automotive mounting tape that is sticky on both sides and mounted the mirror directly to a relatively flat wall.
Extremely happy with the result!!
There is some very minor distortion in the mirror image, which actually adds some character and pleasontness to the interior of the camper.
Not having to ever worry about shattering of glass is priceless!

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by SpareThymeInk Safe Mirror for Church Nursery
I bought the mirror to use in a church nursery. I added molding to the edges and 1/4 inch mdf board to the back to finish it off. It was slightly less than stated size by a half inch or so each direction. It was a much better deal than buying a prefabricated one from a children's supply store.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by SolarU Solar Cooker application fully tests acrylic mirror capabilities.
In the interest of going green and developing a prototype solar cooker, I had a huge problem of deciding on the ideal parabolic reflector material to use. After extensive research in using reflective foils, tapes, metals and glass mirrors, I found a solution. Home Depot had the overal best item to use and even the best price. The acrylic mirror met nearly all my design and performance needs. First, it is extremely flexable and easily followed my parabolic curve. Also, it is tolerant to reasonable high temperatures, as I found when a part of my wooden frame caught on fire and hot ashes fell on the mirror. To my surprise, hardly any damage occured beyond a slight dimple where the chips fell. The reflectivity was another key concern and the acrylic mirror performs just fine. Although glass mirrors are technically more reflective than arylic types, they are twice as heavy, thus the acrylic mirror product a better choice for me. After extended use outside the mirror does get dusty, but it is easy to clean if extreme care is used. First I air blow it and then I use a very soft cloth to gently wipe it down. The acrylic surface is very sensitive to scratching, even one particle of sand rubbed with a cloth can scratch it, thus my explaining my cleaning method. Deeper scratches may be removed with special plastic cleaning and polishing chemicals although I have not tried them yet. I also needed an exact 24 inch width. I was afraid based on other customers that the advertised dimensions would be too short, but I was pleasantly rewarded when it arrived and it was dead-on the correct advertised diemensions. My design required using 2 pieces that needed cutting. I cut it to size with a jigsaw. It cuts very easily. And finally, the product description strongly advised use indoors and against outdoor use. But, for me it has faired perfectly outdoors for my intermittant use (no rain exposure) and even in the high humidity we have here. In summary, I have brutally put this acrylic mirror to the test, with severe bending/warping, high temperatures, high humidity, splashes of water from the cooking pot and cutting of pieces and it performs very well. I like this product and recommend its use in the solar energy markets. See photos of my prototype solar grill using the acrylic mirror product from Home Depot, where I am cooking up a large skillet of food.

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by John Correct material, but flawed
The material was shipped and received a few days later than originally quoted when ordered. Working with the acrylic, it was necessary to keep the protective film in place until the project was almost finished. When the film was removed, it was discovered that there was a couple blotches with tiny bubbles in the acrylic. Fortunately, they ended up in a place where they would not be noticeable. The flaws were in the middle of the sheet and it would have been impossible to cut out for the project it was being used for.
disappointing, but at the point where the flaw was found, it was too late to de-do the project without purchasing another sheet of the acrylic mirror.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Diana It was just as described
I used this behind an antique headboard. It was perfect and lacked the weight of a real mirror. Which was great because the brass headboard was heavy on it's own.
