Rated 3.6 out of 5 by 5 reviewers.
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Almost perfect Beautiful door. Exterior metal decorative door rattles back and forth when it closes causing an annoying sound each time. I inserted foam between the slats to help minimize the sound. August 2, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by LOVE! All of the security doors in my area look alike. This door is unique and classy. There was a pin missing from the latch but that was easily picked up at HD. I am thrilled with this purchase! July 19, 2016
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Handle broke It looks really nice but my Handel broke and it hasn't even been a year. To fix it I need to special order the Handel that's Costing us $150! Not worth it September 26, 2016
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by great door, bad 1-way screws buy extra 1-way screws and and several 1-way adapters to avoid multiple trips to HD. June 17, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Good door, read this for tips Check out the manufacturer's videos and stuff for a bit of help on installing. However, if you hear it somewhere, this door does not include the one-way screw tool, temporary screws, nor touch-up paint, so consider getting these yourself if desired. The spacing of the jamb and getting the latch to line-up right is a bit tricky, as with any flush-mounted security door, but it's doable, especially if you have experience. Using temporary screws definitely helps you make the fine adjustments. The threshold included is 6" wide from the side that hangs over the bottom jamb bar towards the inside of the house. It's pretty easy to trace the shape and looks great. It bends a bit when stepped on if you hang it over a span, but holds up fine. Tin snips cut it easily, but I'd recommend using those only to the depth of cut you need, then use pliers to snap off the piece you want to cut out. The jamb includes some cheap foam weatherstripping around the door which, along with the bug sweep, give it a good seal (i.e. no big gaps around the door). Caulking around the jamb and on the threshold gives it a polished look and cuts down on the resonating metal noise when you close it. The handle/deadbolt look great and work well. Note that the lock cylinder is apparently not easily re-keyed (I was told it would cost $45 to change, although there apparently are similar types of cylinders that make it easier - not sure how much those cost). The key that came with it is essentially a Kwisket, but is a very tight fit in Kwikset locks. I ended up having the locksmith make me copies (on actual Kwikset keys that fit my other doors) of the key that came with the screen, then re-keyed the rest of the house to match (God bless the Kwikset SmartKey).
