I bought three of these, and they are pure junk. The back is made from some type of hard cardboard and the drawer slides are attached to this cardboard back with plastic mounts inserted into the cardboard back. If it they last a month, I will be surprised. I plan on upgrading each one by adding a 1/2 plywood back and installing new slides that can be attached with screws to the plywood. I probably will have to rebuild the drawers, also. They are extremely poorly made, like the rest of the cabinet. The cabinets were on sale, so if I upgrade their construction, I won't be out a lot of money, and then maybe they will last my wife and I until we die. We are both elderly and live on fixed income, so buying expensive cabinets was out of the question.

Got this for my laundry room. After I got it home, I noticed the particle board toe kick was busted where the dowels connect at the corners. I noticed the back bottom board was loose as well. There were 4 holes for dowels but no dowels. Main thing holding it together seems to be cheap plastic angle pieces stapled to the partial board. Poor, lazy construction. The oak construction seems to be OK. But, I would not recommend buying.

Replaced all our kitchen cabinets with these. First thing I noticed drawers were already starting to separate, so I went ahead & used cabinet screws to re enforce drawer sides. Then when painting doors noticed hinges bent they appear to be cheap flimsy hinges, so at some point will have to be replaced. Inside the cabinets, I noticed shelf support holes in places in back of cabinets like company messed up & didn't want to waste .

We bought several of these cabinets in different sizes to add to an existing basement kitchen (these were the closest match) We removed every cabinet and I spent approximately one week sanding and painting each cupboard, 3 coats of paint (satin finish) were used with a light sand between each coat and a final coat of wood wax was applied to give extra protection, they look great and have really added a great deal to the basement space.

Let's keep in mind that these are not top of the line cabinets. I purchased a 36" base as well as two 24" base drawer cabinets to build a kitchen island with. Easy to sand to finish and easy install. I have had my island since April (2012) and haven't had any issues with them except for the large drawer not being able to hold heavy items. So it becomes either a junk drawer or linen drawer- no biggie. The two drawer cabinets have been great.
If you want something nicer, then don't buy these. If you need added storage in your kitchen on a budget- these are for you!!!

Best used for a spray finish or paint. Not high quality, but it's what you would expect for this price range. Staining can leave inconsistent color. For a little more, you can get a cabinetwith perfect finish.

The only hard wood is the door and front trim, everything else is a cheap particle board. The hardwood panels in the doors rattle around and the trim is so roughly cut that some areas could not be sanded out and had to be filled. When picking them up, we had to sift through multiple cabinets in order to find one that was not beaten or busted. Even after that, we got them home to find some of the pieces such as the back mounting rails were missing. My advice is to buy something else, but if you do go with them, CAREFULLY inspect every one. We did our entire kitchen in them so time will tell if they hold up but we are not expecting much.
