No it won't!!! I thought so but my contractor informed me that the standard bathroom vanity top is only 22" in depth and the standard kitchen base is 24" deep.

Answer:
Yes. My current vanity is a kitchen base. Particle board is a problem but if you look at most vanities they are made of particle board with wood doors. As far as the counter top goes, you would either have to have a granite or composite one made or you can purchase a Formica kitchen counter top and cut out hole for drop in sink.

Answer:
Hello RanchMom,
Thank you for your question! It's always a good idea to lightly sand wood furniture before applying either a paint or a stain. If you plan on paining, you should also consider priming the surface before hand. A water based primer will work great.
Have a great day,
Christine

Hi ThingsIwonder,
Sorry, there is no practical way to reduce the height of this cabinet. You will have to build a custom cabinet for your application.

Then attached the 72" countertop. I also attached the kick plate, and the two side panels. Finally I varnished the unfinished oak. It all went together without any problems and the quality is very good for the price. And the countertop required 2 endcaps for the unfinished ends, which IRON on to melt the pre-coated glue. I think it turned out very well. The staff at the Montgomery store were very helpful in putting this all together for us. Thanks!

I discovered a short while after bringing this in the house that it brought with it some sort of weird beetle bugs that I never saw before. This has presented an extra expense because now I am going to have to figure how out to get rid of these bugs. Apparently, they like the wood cabinets and are easily transported in these cabinets. I read on the internet what to do and it suggests you vacuum out the cabinets real good and spray disinfectant all over them. If I would have known, I would have done this before bringing them in the house. Learn from my mistake.

Our cabinets were Kraftmade and they were a repurposed set. Our sink base was in poor shape, so we opted for a quit fix. Cabinet looks ok...the routed edge was real close. This cabinet was built terrible, I had to add solid piece of wood were it attached to the wall. And added two small brackets at the corners in back. Looks ok, matched ok, but the materials which this was made is junk. That with the poor construction means a quick fix isn't always good.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from So so I got the last cabinet in the store, and there was a reason it was the last. Initial inspection wasn't too bad, but closer inspection at the checkout showed many flaws. If the lady at the checkout wouldn't have given a nice discount, I wouldn't have purchased this unit. Assembly must be preformed by an uninterested disgruntled worker. I had to reinforce the back, reglue the rear panel and front facing. Proper staple placement was a joke, and fortunately I was able to mend this back together. I thought I was saving time and money by purchasing this unit, but I really didn't.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Basic cupboards We couldn've spent tens of thousands on a kitchen remodel. Instead we did the entire kitchen for under $2K!!!! These cupboards were stained (easily) - came a multitude of sizes so they fit our kitchen and the varnish was a snap. We added glass tile back splash and counters from HD as well. Oh, and we're putting in laminate flooring from here. Bargain shoppers know that it doesn't take an expensive item to make the room!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Nice basic cabinet Purchased this for a laundry room sink cabinet. Worked great. Nice basic cabinet for $88 on sale. Fairly sturdy with decent construction. Doors include adjustable hinges in case they weren't level from the store. Wood stains fine. I'm not sure I'd use this in a higher end kitchen, but I would definite use it in a bathroom or similar application. I'm glad I bought the unfinished version instead of the white one. Staining the front panels is relatively simple. I would definitely buy this again as a simple sink base cabinet.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good Deal It went in well. They were super easy to stain. My only complaint is the fit of the doors. There is about an 1/8 inch gap that can't be adjusted but you do get what you pay for.
