Much thinner that gorilla tape, hold not as good, so why did I buy it???? Sometimes you don't need the best quality for a project. Sometime you need some tape for a short term, so this would be perfect.

The Nashua tape is much thicker and heavier, and claims to work in wide temperature ranges. It's also whiter. The Scotch is slightly yellow. I'm going to return the Scotch unopened.

This is duct tape. It is very strong. The sticky part, well, seemed not so sticky but it was real hot when I used it to hold insulation on my garage door. Found I didn't need afterall.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Forrest It was nice to find out that I had color choices intead of just the old gray.
I needed a color tape to go against a wall. And, have a color choice was nice so it did not stick out. It is not noticable.

This is a very good duct tape. It's nice that it comes in white so that it matches some items I use it on.

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by SheldonCooper Doesn't stick! Waste of money!
We bought this at our local Home Depot since it was the cheapest option for plain old duck tape and I happen to have a coupon for it. Even at that, it was still much higher than what I've paid before for duck tape. All I can say is what a waste! We started by attempting to tape up a small string of mini holiday lights around an indoor window. After struggling repeatedly to tear the tape evenly (splits and shreds) we finally got it up. Within a half hour, the lights started falling. This is a 100-ct mini light string we're talking about. It weighs next to nothing.
I used duck tape (a different product, clearly) to attach a plexiglass 'window' to my car that has held up in heat, sun, cold, frost, rain, snow, anything and everything for a YEAR without so much as budging. This disgusting excuse for "duck tape" is no better than the clear tape Scotch makes!
Returning tomorrow. SO disappointed!

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Rocket1 Excellent choice for mutiple uses
The uses for Duct tape have been widely publicized. The color choices allow for uses that blend in with the colors of painted interior or exterior. I have used this to hide speaker wires along the white ceiling, painted edges to blend in very nicely, hardly noticeable.
