After using the regular Bondo body epoxy I still have smaller imperfections in the surface after sanding. Do they make another product to use over the regular Bondo to fill in this imperfections?

Answer:
Bondo glazer / spot putty is good for the last layer . It comes in a tube. Sand 120 to 150 grit , clean . Use Glazer putty .It is applied the same as Bondo filler , only thinner layer will fill in small holes or uneven feathering.

Answer:
Yes, this is a two part product. The Bondo putty is in the can and a small tube of white hardener is supplied that is mixed in. Once mixed in the ratios recommended, it takes about 4-5 minutes before it starts to cure, so only mix small amounts at a time.

Hi Cburg,
Yes, this is a binary, or two part system.
This is a fiberglass based system, but you should never use it strictly for adhesive purposes, just for filling volume of a substrate.

Answer:
Yes, but you may want to use our wood filler instead as it works better for wood applications where the surface may expand or retract with moisture, heat, and cold. Thanks for asking!

I deducted a star because the HD text did not specify if the hardener was included. I bought the tube of Red creme hardener also, which as it turns out, I didn't need so I had to make another trip to HD for for the return.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Worked good for repairing wood I use Bondo to repair holes and defects in painted furniture. Material seems to sand easily and accept paint pretty much the same as wood or composite (particle board and/or MDF). I learned to heed the instructions and not mix too much at one time - when the two parts (putty and resin) are mixed you only have two or three minutes of working time before the mixture begins to gel and harden. Also, I would recommend wearing disposable gloves - it is somewhat sticky and tends to get all over the place if you aren't careful. Both the raw putty and mixed material initially has a rather thin viscosity and flows / overflows more easily than one might expect. Applying layers rather than one thick application would be a good idea, especially if being applied on a vertical surface.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Bondo is not just for repairing auto body work. This product allows a craftsman to easily and quickly make repairs to rotten mill work, dents in doors, damaged counter tops and most anything else needing an easily worked material to produce a smooth finished surface.
