After using the regular Bondo body epoxy I still have smaller imperfections in the surface after sanding. Do they make another product to use over the regular Bondo to fill in this imperfections?

Answer:
Bondo glazer / spot putty is good for the last layer . It comes in a tube. Sand 120 to 150 grit , clean . Use Glazer putty .It is applied the same as Bondo filler , only thinner layer will fill in small holes or uneven feathering.

Answer:
Yes, this is a two part product. The Bondo putty is in the can and a small tube of white hardener is supplied that is mixed in. Once mixed in the ratios recommended, it takes about 4-5 minutes before it starts to cure, so only mix small amounts at a time.

Answer:
Hi Cburg,
Yes, this is a binary, or two part system.
This is a fiberglass based system, but you should never use it strictly for adhesive purposes, just for filling volume of a substrate.

Answer:
Yes, but you may want to use our wood filler instead as it works better for wood applications where the surface may expand or retract with moisture, heat, and cold. Thanks for asking!

Rated 4.5 out of 5 by 22 reviewers.
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great for repairing a concrete garage floor We recently applied an epoxy coat to our garage floor. Since it is 30+ years old, the concrete was chipped and cracked in places. Initially we used a different brand of pre-mixed concrete patch repair however when we applied the etching wash of muriatic acid and water, we found that the concrete repair would soften and expose the repaired holes. So we decided to switch to Bondo and it worked a charm. Some holes were 1/2"+ deep and this needed two applications of the Bondo to get the surface flat. The Bondo cures very quickly so its best to only mix a small amount that you can apply inside of 5 minutes. It takes about 20-30 minutes before it is cured enough to sand so working with it is very quick. Once it had cured, we just used 120 grade sandpaper in an orbital sander to flatten it out and the results were excellent. Even in the smallest holes we filled, the Bondo was still in place after sanding, unlike the pre-mixed concrete crack repair product we had initially tried out. August 18, 2014

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Not Happy I opened the can & the body filler was practically hard as a rock...I tried returning it for another can, but without a receipt They wouldn't let me...Shreaded my H.D. card...Sorry September 8, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by good item its something I use in my work a lot in home repair speeds up repairs August 11, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great Stuff I truly love this bondo product. I have never used it on any automobile projects, but I have used it several times as a wood filler. Recently, my mailbox post was snapped in two pieces. Since the break was above ground, and after applying a wood hardner, I applied the bondo to both of the broken surfaces. I had made a little jig to help hold up the post once i applied the bondo. It filled in all the nooks and crannies. After it dried and cured, I sanded it down, painted the post, and it looks as good as new. A new mailbox post would have cost at least $40, not to mention the labor and aggravation of digging out the old one--that was anchored in concrete. Saved me lot of time, money, and frustration.
