Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by LosRubios Great for repairing a concrete garage floor
We recently applied an epoxy coat to our garage floor. Since it is 30+ years old, the concrete was chipped and cracked in places. Initially we used a different brand of pre-mixed concrete patch repair however when we applied the etching wash of muriatic acid and water, we found that the concrete repair would soften and expose the repaired holes. So we decided to switch to Bondo and it worked a charm. Some holes were 1/2"+ deep and this needed two applications of the Bondo to get the surface flat. The Bondo cures very quickly so its best to only mix a small amount that you can apply inside of 5 minutes. It takes about 20-30 minutes before it is cured enough to sand so working with it is very quick. Once it had cured, we just used 120 grade sandpaper in an orbital sander to flatten it out and the results were excellent. Even in the smallest holes we filled, the Bondo was still in place after sanding, unlike the pre-mixed concrete crack repair product we had initially tried out.

I use Bondo to repair holes and defects in painted furniture. Material seems to sand easily and accept paint pretty much the same as wood or composite (particle board and/or MDF).
I learned to heed the instructions and not mix too much at one time - when the two parts (putty and resin) are mixed you only have two or three minutes of working time before the mixture begins to gel and harden. Also, I would recommend wearing disposable gloves - it is somewhat sticky and tends to get all over the place if you aren't careful.
Both the raw putty and mixed material initially has a rather thin viscosity and flows / overflows more easily than one might expect. Applying layers rather than one thick application would be a good idea, especially if being applied on a vertical surface.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Hall2052 Bondo is not just for repairing auto body work.
This product allows a craftsman to easily and quickly make repairs to rotten mill work, dents in doors, damaged counter tops and most anything else needing an easily worked material to produce a smooth finished surface.

Great product, but it turned out that it had been returned by a previous owner and placed back on the shelf. The contents were partially used, but there was still enough to complete my task.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by DOITmyself Better than expected
When this was recommended to me to fill nail holes, dents, etc. in wood, I thought "It's for metal?!?" but after trying it found it worked better than the wood fillers I had used in the past. A bit more work but worth the effort.
