The plastic that surrounds the hinges is very thin and is prone to breaking, leaving the headband dangling uselessly. Otherwise, a good thick shield and comfortable to wear. Just don't expect it to stand up to prolonged use.

Have owned at least 4 of these. Every one of the headbands has broken at the pivot or hinge point.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by ElJay great protection
This shield provided the best protection from flying dust and comfortable fit. My artist daughter uses it every time she is in her studio carving antlers and other mediums. it fits great with the respirator she uses, also purchased from Home Depot.

No good. Went to cut tree down the rest of the way after Hurricane Sandy, the band had broken after sitting on the shelf for a year, making it totally useless.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Mortie Strap is fragile but otherwise it's great!
This item works. It'll keep everything from sawdust to pepper spray out of your eyes. Just be sure to apply antifog to the inside if you're going to wear something else over your nose and mouth.
The strap has had some trouble staying set properly, but some tape took care of the slipping.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Hobbs Very useful and easy to assemble
Since I have used for task around the house such drilling holes in the ceiling to install more smoke detector and when using the grass trimmer and edger, I can only recommend it for such uses. Professional people might have different opinions.

Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Kelly 2nd one to break
These are really good to use, but this is the second one to break. This last one lasted about four months. They break at the large metal grommet where the face shield is connected to the the headband. I have a fairly small head, so this really doesn't make a lot of sense. They split at the round gray connection. Then the faceshield gets looser and looser.
