Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Best paint & rust stripper for metal Used this product to remove paint & rust from an old wrought iron fence . This was the best remover that I found. I tried many of the metal type brush removers but found them ineffective compared to this product. You can easily vary the rate of removal by the pressure applied to the tool. As the stripper wore down, I used it to get into the tighter areas. October 21, 2014
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Pro grade-- I don't think so. I had better luck with sandpaper. This product made the drill jump around, and it was difficult to handle at times. Eventually, it got the job done. September 23, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by This thing is awesome! Solved my paint-on-brick problem The previous owner of my house was a really sloppy painter. All the trim he painted everywhere not only looked bad, but he had zero discipline in actually staying on the trim. There was paint 2" or more wide off onto the brick and aluminum siding next to the window trim. The siding is one thing- you can paint over it, but you can't strip it because it will just strip down to the bare aluminum (it may work ok on vinyl though since that's the same color all the way through supposedly). Brick though, you can't really paint over. So i didn't know what to do. Then i discovered this guy. Using this thing with my 18v drill, i was able to get rid of all the paint off of the brick. It's a bit tricky to get a feel for it and not have the drill bouncing up and down, but once you get a handle on it, you can put a little pressure and it does its job. It was definitely more effective on the higher RPM settings. You end up sanding off a little of the brick, so make sure you are ready for brick dust to go everywhere if that's what you use it for. It does wear down as you use it, so it doesn't last forever, but man is it worth every penny! July 2, 2014
