Product Overview

3M Advanced Sandpaper is now better than ever, thanks to our No-Slip Grip Backing that is applied to the back of our 3M Pro Grade Sandpaper. No-Slip Grip Backing provides longer sheet life - 7 times longer than conventional sandpaper. For the best sanding results, sand with the grain of the wood and work through a sequence of grits, from coarse to ultra fine, skipping no more than one grit between sandpaper.

  • 220 Grit
  • Clog resistant
  • Proven reduced hang fatigue
  • Purple abrasive will not discolor the surface you are sanding

Pro Grade 9 in. x 11 in. 220 Grit Very Fine No-Slip Grip Advanced Sandpaper (3-Pack) is rated 4.6 out of 5 by 70.
Rated 1 out of 5 by from avoid no-slip grip While the sanding surface works well the NO-SLIP GRIP ruins the power tool sanding pad! It sticks and pulls of chunks of the padding material.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Washable Sandpaper! I bought this a couple of months ago - 1 sheet of 220 to work on sealing some new butcherblock countertop. My repeat process is apply oil, dry & sand. The oil gums up sandpaper very quickly, especially with the fairly inflexible paper product. Not only was the flexible sheet releasing some of the 'gummy' residue, it was also turning out good as new after washing with mild dish liquid. I have washed the sheet about 6 times and it still works great - one single sheet. I love this product.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from not for orbital sanders Used once on a felt pad orbital sander. Then proceeded to rip the felt off to remove the paper. Seems every store went to no slip grip paper. Does 3M make a paper for people that use orbital sanders?

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fantastic Sandpaper About a year ago I bought two "four sheet" packs of Sandblaster. One is 150 grit, the other is 320 grit. I pulled one sheet out of each pack and started to use them. I make coin rings - I do a LOT of sanding...I used these almost every day. Today I took the second sheet out of the 150 grit pack. I will still use the one I've used for a year - it is very gentle to surfaces. The first sheet of 320 is still going strong. Neither one has any holes or tears.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I'm Impressed I recently purchased the Sandblaster sheets in 220 grit and was I surprised! I've been sanding wood for about 50 years (no, not nonstop) and this is my first time using this type of sheet. It lasts and lasts, doesn't clog, and gets in those pesky small places. Well done 3M!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Lasts longer but... The nonslip grip backing sticks to the sander pad and comes off in chunks leaving backing residue on the pad. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
