Product Overview

3M Advanced Sandpaper is now better than ever, thanks to our No-Slip Grip Backing that is applied to the back of our 3M Pro Grade Sandpaper. No-Slip Grip Backing provides longer sheet life - 7 times longer than conventional sandpaper. For the best sanding results, sand with the grain of the wood and work through a sequence of grits, from coarse to ultra fine, skipping no more than one grit between sandpaper.

  • 60 Grit
  • Clog resistant
  • Proven reduced hang fatigue
  • The purple abrasive will not discolor the surface you are sanding
  • Follow the grain of the wood when sanding

Pro Grade 9 in. x 11 in. 60 Grit Course No-Slip Grip Advanced Sandpaper (3-Pack) is rated 4.4 out of 5 by 73.
Rated 1 out of 5 by from avoid no-slip grip While the sanding surface works well the NO-SLIP GRIP ruins the power tool sanding pad! It sticks and pulls of chunks of the padding material.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Washable Sandpaper! I bought this a couple of months ago - 1 sheet of 220 to work on sealing some new butcherblock countertop. My repeat process is apply oil, dry & sand. The oil gums up sandpaper very quickly, especially with the fairly inflexible paper product. Not only was the flexible sheet releasing some of the 'gummy' residue, it was also turning out good as new after washing with mild dish liquid. I have washed the sheet about 6 times and it still works great - one single sheet. I love this product.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from not for orbital sanders Used once on a felt pad orbital sander. Then proceeded to rip the felt off to remove the paper. Seems every store went to no slip grip paper. Does 3M make a paper for people that use orbital sanders?

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Not For Electric Sanders As has been mentioned I was also a victim of this paper used on my palm sander and noe have a ruin sanding pad. DO NOT USE THIS PRODUCT.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from WARNING! WARNING! WARNING! WARNING! DO NOT USE WITH POWER SANDERS! I've been using a wide variety of 3M products for many years, both on the job site and at home. I trusted (still do) the quality of their products. They dropped the ball when they indicated you can use this with power tools (palm sanders). As everyone has said, it will stick to the pad due to heat & rip it up when you go to remove the paper. Time to go online to find "regular sandpaper",as all the "big box stores" only carry the NO-SLIP GRIP now. Too bad there aren't many real hardware stores left. P.S. -- It's not even close to lasting 7X longer. Note -- I tried some parchment paper (used in baking) in between the pad & sandpaper. It worked great ,no sticking! Thanks,Frank for the idea. Hope this will help someone.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Not for power sanders. Don't use this on a palm sander as it will ruin the sander's rubber pad when you try to remove it. Who would want sandpaper to stick to a tool? When the sandpaper wears out and needs to be changed some of it will remain stuck to the tool.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fantastic Sandpaper About a year ago I bought two "four sheet" packs of Sandblaster. One is 150 grit, the other is 320 grit. I pulled one sheet out of each pack and started to use them. I make coin rings - I do a LOT of sanding...I used these almost every day. Today I took the second sheet out of the 150 grit pack. I will still use the one I've used for a year - it is very gentle to surfaces. The first sheet of 320 is still going strong. Neither one has any holes or tears.
