I did not expect this from scotch. Like other reviewers said, this tape breaks off while peeling. The glue is cheap quality. When i applied it over the trim, it also peeled some of the paint. I do not recommend!!.

Horrible product. First, the tape is really thin. You cannot find the seam at all. When you finally do, and pull tape out, it tears or it starts to peel unevenly so you never get a useable length. I've had this experience with cheap 99 cent store tape, but not from a reputable manufacturer like Scotch.

This is a great tape for repairing defects or tears in the buff area of a rifle target.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Marie23 Great tape for the bigger projects!
The product itself was mediocre and was used well for the purpose our company needed for that day. I do recommend the product when you have big painting projects. The width helps greatly to secure plastic, paper and/or cardboard.

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Scott Very low quality; threw mine away
This is exceedingly low quality tape. I expect better from Scotch. This tape shreds very badly when you try to peel it from the roll or from anything else. The adhesive is also of unusually low quality and sticks to very little other than itself. I strongly recommend buying something else.

I used this tape on my carpet when I painted the floor boards in my spare bedroom. No paint leaked through like other brands have. So worth it to spend the time to put this masking tape down before painting. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
