I need to know what the case price is on the .94mm and 1.41 3M 2080 tape. I think they come 4 sleeves to the case.

I'm not quite sure of the exact price I looked on the home depot site they only had the single roll listed. I believe it is around $ 24.00 for four.

I paint radio controlled model airplanes the old fashioned way with nitrate and butyrate dope, as well as an acrylic lacquer based product called Lustrecoat from Top Flite. The low tack qualities are a must and I still get a good seal along the edge. I know the label on the tape says not to be used on lacquer, but so far I've not had any problems. A little more flexibility for going around corners would be nice, but it's still a first class product.

This looks good but it is a terrible product compared to the original paper based blue paint tape. I started a room and finished a roll of the old style tape then finished half the room with the 'edge lock'. In the time it took to stir and pour paint, most of the edge lock tape had fallen off. Fortunately i found a another roll of the old tape and was able to re-mask the half room. Save your yourself the aggravation and stay with the original paper based tape.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Don't like it. Compared the 3M ScotchBlue tape I was trying to replace (Multi-Surface #2090 - medium adhesion, 14-day removal), I do NOT like this tape. 1.) It's difficult to tear; 2.) It sticks to itself when tearing because it coils up on itself; and, 3.) It does NOT stick to the wall as well as the #2090 ScotchBlue painter's tape did. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PRODUCT, but I was unable to change the button which asks this question to "No."

It allows you to make a nice line between painted surfaces, like chair rails, baseboards and windows. It tears easily and is easy to align. Sometimes the adhesive does not stick unless you press it down firmly at every inch, but you get used to it after a while. After painting, while paint is not yet fully dried, you just pull the tape off and the edge is very clean.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Do Not Use This product does not perform as advertised. I have had minor problems with it in the past but applied it to protect an adjoining wall and ceiling yesterday. I painted one coat yesterday and a second today. I just removed the tape and it damaged the walls I was trying to protect as well as removed paint from the wall I painted. I will use Frog Tape in the future.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Decent but I had problems with it sticking I bought I believe a four or six roll pack out of that pack I had half of the rolls where when I was unrolling them to put them on the wall they would tear that made it difficult for me to get long pieces out of each row this happened on about half of the rolls don't know if it was old tape or bad tape but I was not happy with

As with any type of blue tape, the trick to getting really sharp edges is that you have rub it down and press it down with your fingers well. If you don't take the time to press it down well, then there is a chance the paint can seep under it.

The one thing they have done with their tapes is move away from the solid blue, to one with markings and logos. That actually makes it harder to identify paint overlaps onto the tape. A solid color tape would be best.
