Saw this on the shelf, bought the marketing, "This exterior tape holds strong in rain, wind, and humidity..." and decided to splurge on this expensive tape to make my life easier. I don't know where they tested this product, but in Central Florida with 90*+ temps and humidity over 80% this tape was awful. It held for just about 5 minutes on a good stick- and that was only on glass or wood. Used on concrete, cement, stucco or masonry this product held for less that one minute.
In my store this product was advertised for exterior use, in high humidity on concrete, stucco and masonry. Enormous waste of time and money. Thankfully I had some remaining store brand bluetape from another big box store on hand and was able to complete the job w/o another trip to HD.

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by naturat Hideous Product - not worth the money
I bought a 4 pack of this junk as I was painting the outside of my home.
1) refused to stick to surfaces you want. Won't stick to paint, won't stick to vinyl window frames, won't stick to wood. It does though stick to the bottom of your shoe and plastic.
2) Does not create an edge. Everywhere I used this it allowed paint to leak behind it and now I need to repaint every surface I used this on as it's an ugly mess.
3) If you leave it up for more than a couple of days once you get it to actually stick to something and it doesn't just fall off the building repeatedly be very careful as it will adhere to the vinyl of your window frames creating a huge mess as it won't now come off.
Should have read reviews on this, but figured it was painters tape, how difficult is it to make a decent product that works!?

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Manykatz I purchased the exterior tape by accident, but tried to use it anyway for interior painting. Once I figured out how to keep it from rolling back on itself I thought it would be OK. Unfortunately, it didn't adhere well to the painted woodwork. In fact, it actually fell off the sides and bottoms of the window frames. The only thing it wanted to stick to was itself!

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by royboy comes off clean!
We put down pre-finished bamboo floors in our houses as soon as the plaster is done. That means we have to protect the floors while all the interior trim work is happening, as well as while all the messy subcontractors are coming in and out with their muddy boots. We cover the floors with a rolled cardboard type floor covering, and tape it down around the edges with the exterior blue tape. Even after being taped directly to the pre-finished surface, and being walked on for at least two months, the tape came right up without taking the finish off the floor. I was nervous about leaving it on for that long, but it worked beautifully! I highly recommend it! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by renovator 1009 It twists up into a spiral, useless
This tape came as a sample with a package 4 or 5 rolls of masking tape. When you peal it off the roll it has a terrible "memory" and rolls back on itself, often in a spiral, and sticks to itself. It is almost impossible to use.

This tape worked great. I liked the way that it tore cleanly. It was very sticky, but didn't leave any residue upon removal.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by IRDS Sticks Overnight After A Rainstorm
I bought this tape for painting our back patio after reading that it sticks on with moisture. Here in Florida we have a lot of humidity. Not only that, we started to paint and we couldn't finish because of an afternoon rain storm. We started back up the next morning and were surprised to find the tape sticking everywhere we applied it the previous day. When we finished up that morning, we were totally shocked to see that none of the paint we applied both days had gone under the tape. Now that's great sticking tape!!
