I used it to glue a large photo to the front of a 3 ring binder, spraying both surfaces (the back of the photo and the front of the binder) and it worked fine for that. One draw back to this stuff, or any spray adhesive, especially with something as "fussy" as a photo, is the mess you have to deal, particularly, the overspray . You have to be VERY careful not to get any adhesive on the front of your photo or it will show. I first spread out my newspapers to cover the surface I was working on, sprayed the back of the photo, carefully set it aside on a clean surface, with the sprayed side UP, then put down a clean layer of newspapers before setting the folder on the work surface so as not to get any overspray from the photo on the back of the folder. I taped off the area I didn't want sprayed on the folder, then sprayed it with the adhesive. After it was sprayed, I removed the tape, put down a fresh layer of newspapers once again, and working on the clean surface, adhered to photo to the folder being very careful not to get any adhesive on the picture side of the photo. With a clean, white rag (cut from a t-shirt) I gently rubbed the top of the photo to make sure the two surfaces were bonded, took another clean white t-shirt rag, spread it evenly over the whole thing and set a large book on top until I was sure it was dry. The difficulty in keeping the adhesive off areas you don't want glued is the reason I don't use spray adhesives more than I do. Read Less

Answer:
We usually figure on a 10 minute open time. If you spray both sides, it could be longer.

I'm not quite sure what you mean by workable. This glue is, by design, a fast drying glue that is meant to be a temporary bond. If you spray something and immediately apply it to whatever it is supposed to be more than temporary. I don't think I could trust it for the long haul. There are too many other glues for that purpose. This glue is ideal for scrollers. Apply it to a pattern, let it dry and then Read More

There are too many other glues for that purpose. This glue is ideal for scrollers. Apply it to a pattern, let it dry and then apply it to the wood. After you have cut the pattern you can peel off the pattern. The dry time doesn't appear to be critical. I hope this helps. Read Less

Thanks for asking! This industrial strength adhesive only has a 1-2 minute working time before it begins to cure. So you need to adhere the pieces together rather quickly. Please know our team is available for technical questions M-F 8am-5pm at 1.800.537.9514. Thanks again!

Answer:
This is not appropriate for fabric or any material that will flex. This is a thin adhesive and the bond will degrade. Look at iron on adhesives like Stitch Witch, or Beva.

Answer:
While it will bond fabric it will not be as flexible once cured as adhering it will cause it to stiffen a bit. It can still be moved and manipulated just not as easily if it was not sprayed at all. If you would like to discuss this further or see if we have a better recommendation please call 1.800.537.9514 M-F 8am-5pm CT. Thanks for asking!

I really cannot think of any glue that wouldn't stiffen cloth to cloth. The only thing I can think of that wouldn't stiffen the cloth is needle and thread.

We would recommend our 80 Rubber and Vinyl Spray Adhesive because rubber is a hard surface to stick to. Please know we have an automotive division that you can reach out to at 1.877.666.2277 M-F 8am-4:30pm CT, they may have a better recommendation for your specific application. Thanks for asking!

Answer:
No, I don't think so. I can't find anywhere that it says it will bond to rubber. I think there are better choices. One to look into would be silicon rubber. Make sure the surfaces are very clean and apply the product according to the instructions. Silicon rubber should bond well to both surfaces and of course it is water proof. Hope this helps.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great for attaching speaker grill cloth to grills This was recommended for attaching new grill cloth to speaker grill frames. It worked great. After spraying I let it set about 5 minutes then it was tacky enough to hold the cloth in place. The best part it that it's not permanent - I can tease the grill cloth off the frame and reattach it if it starts sagging or if I didn't get it on square the first time. So far I've fixed two sets of speakers with it and both are holding up fine. I try not to get the spray on back of the visible part of the grill cloth, but if I do it dries pretty clear and can be rubbed off to some extent. I don't see it from the outside when i use premium grill cloth. August 28, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great stuff! I picked this stuff up last winter just before we went on a trip. I had just purchased a used set of roof bars for my wife's Suv. Of course, allof the little clips on the inside of the plastic cover were busted off when they removed them. It was a 10degree day and the only bonding surface on the covers is about 3/32" wide. About an hour after I glued them on we took an hour and a half trip to a mall. This glue held up in freezing rain driving 80mph there and back. I will never use anything else! Love this stuff!! I would pay double!!! September 26, 2016
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by The right spray for the right job Good for smooth, flat materials. Spraying both sides makes for a great bond. Good ventilation is a must, and wear a mask. October 18, 2016
