Rated 5 out of 5Â by Murphy Love them
I have had these for years. Buy a few pairs for the price. Family and friends tend to walk away with them...really! Lightweight, comfortable and durable. I even keep a pair in the truck for when I unexpectedly help a friend out on a project. Great for every toolbox and shed.

Really like this ear protection because of the convenience of not being bulky. Only negative is that after a while you have to relieve the pressure by slightly pulling them out. Overall, excellent because you don't know they're on.

Rated 5 out of 5Â by DeAnne Comfy, block noise
The earplugs fit just right for me, not too far in. They definitely block noise yet I can hear fine around me. (No shouting necessary.) The band is plastic and is why I chose 4 for quality. Still, the join to the earpiece feels solid. Lightweight and hang ready around the neck. Plus the bright color is hard to lose. I like 'em.

OK, everyone's ear canals are different. Some may find this product to be uncomfortable. Me? I've been known to accidentally wear the thing all day (needed it in the AM for mowing, forgot about these being in my ears and continued working in the garden for the rest of the day).
Some reviewers here rightfully point out that the hoop seems too short, gets caught on the collar, etc. True, if you insist upon wearing the hoop at the back of your neck. Many years ago, someone showed me to wear the hoop under my chin, against my throat. Perfect! It doesn't get caught, it isn't too short.
Also, these need to be seated fully into the ear canal. Just setting them into the ear won't provide the protection you need. Angle them upwards just a little as you put them in and press gently to get them to slide all the way in. The widest part of the pod base should be sitting right at the canal opening.
I had mine for over 10 years and bought the replacement pods. My "better half" just broke it, thinking it was a toy to be used as a make-shift horseshoe, as in the outdoor game. I'm buying another, that's how good these really are if you take the time to adjust your wearing habits and seat them properly.
