I manage a small Condominium community in San Antonio, Texas (Sunburst HOA). We use well water to run our sprinkler system. The sprinkler system is inoperative due to so much fine debris in the well water. Drought conditions caused the well water to drop so low that debris from the San Antonio Edwards aquifer is somehow flowing into my well. If the VF1 Volume Filter will work, how do you clean the screen that catches the debris? Is it self cleaning? On your site picture it appears that the debris flows out through an opening of some sort. I do not think I understand how it works. Please send complete operation instructions. The PVC water line where the filter would be installed is 2" schedule 40.

If the VF1 Volume Filter will not work, what are your recommendations?
