The Toro 570 Plastic Center-Strip Nozzle Shrub Spray Sprinkler Head features a 1/2 in. FNPT inlet that makes it compatible with a 1/2 in. NPT riser. This sprinkler head is compatible with any Toro 570 Matched Precipitation Rate (MPR) nozzle and includes a center-strip nozzle that provides a 4 ft. x 30 ft. spray pattern and minimizes water waste.

Answer: 
We do not have instructions for the Toro shrub spray specifically but the nozzle can be adjusted down 25% by turning the nozzle screw clockwise. Doing this would enable a throw reduction down to 22.5 feet. Please view the attached image for additional information.

Both the center and side strip pattern nozzles throw water in a rectangular pattern. The center strip throws water on all sides, 2’ across on either side and 15’ across on the other two sides. Center strips are used in the center of a long rectangular patch of lawn or shrub like those found on the side of the house or the patch of grass often found between the street and the sidewalk.
