Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by BusyHLTHCREmom Decent sandbox for 1-2 kids, plan to do a little EXTRA work though!
An OK product. Wood definitely needed to be sanded before letting our child use as a sandbox. He is pretty pleased with it since it is bigger than his plastic turtle one. We decided to waterseal the wood (wood deck sealer) in order to get more life out of it. Also, felt the need to purchase weed blocking fabric & plastic to put at the bottom to provide a more "clean" & lasting play area. It has turned out to be a decent sandbox for our son. Only other drawback...the "cover" that is shown to be associated with it, turned out to totally not fit & not be worth the extra purchase (ripped & not waterproof). Took a little longer to receive than anticipated.

I've always wanted a raised bed garden, but the prices kept me over-thinking. And then I found these "sand boxes".! Best $20.00 dollars I ever spent! I actually ordered two, because they were so affordable. Raised bed garden looks so nice, clean and organized. My husband, who assembled them was trying to point simplicity of design and low grade quality of the material, but again: $20.00!!! For a cedar, outdoor perfect item. I put coat of water repealing sealant, so I am sure they will last me longer than I expect.

Easy to assemble, However, the wood has a tendency to split when the screws are drilled in. Overall, a good value. Bought it for my dogs. Keeps them from digging in the yard and gives them a cool place to lay and play.

This box was very easy to assemble and is the perfect size to allow for free play but not to take over the entire yard. It has a nice natural look with the natural cedar. The box does not come with screws so if you do not have any on hand make sure to get some deck screws to go with it. The box also does not have a bottom but it is much cheaper to get some landscape felt to staple to the bottom than to buy a sandbox with a bottom. I would also recommend this box for raised bed gardening.

Not a bad product for the price, but I think that this would serve better for a raised garden bed than a sandbox if you are not willing to put in some additional work. Had to sand all the boards as they come too rough for children, and they weren't all in great shape. However, this is still cheaper than buying the wood individually. My kids love it and that's all that matter.
Don't waste money on the cover that is recommended along side this product, buy some outdoor grade plywood instead!

Went together real easy. We use it as a sandbox. We put ground cloth under it so the sand would stay in the box but any water would drain through and put a tarp over the top at night. If your looking for smooth pretty sides all the way around well your not going to get it. However your not paying an outrageous price either like what's being charged by other for a sandbox.

Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Angela You get what you paid for.
There is a reason why this product was so cheap. Some of the boards were split and not sanded, or the rounded edge was stapled to wrong side. Plus screwing the boards were difficult due to the lack of pilot holes on the boards and angle in which the instructions tell you to screw them into the post. You will need a electric screw driver to assemble it.

do not buy this for a sand box or planter. spend $30 more and get the eco-plastic one. very poorly assembled, one rail not even on, one side board cracked, not sanded for splinters for sand box and a joke to put together. i could have bought wood and built one in less time to repair and put together this waste of money!!!!!
