Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by bitman Spring does NOT come on Model 420C
I spoke to NDS, the manufactures after I could not find the pop-up emitter with a Spring, even though the description says that this model has a spring.
I found out that model 420 has a spring, while model 420CW dos not (it uses a crimped pin).
Home Depot calls this crimped model the 420C. Do not be fooled, It is harder for a lawn mower to suck-up the spring loaded version and break it, then it is to suck-up the 420 model. I wish Home Depot would go back to ordering the 420 model from NDS.

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by lilbirdface gets clogged with leaves.and debris
Sorry, but this pop up gets clogged with anything that crosses its path, after one rainfall.
the clogging prevents pvc pipe from properly draining.
also, the glue solution is not ideal. we have lots of water pressure from roof drainage and when glued on, the lid simply pops off. we eventually had to screw it on. perhaps it's not designed for this usage. nonetheless, the screw resolved that issue.
still, the unit is quite the nightmare, due to the clogging. disappointed. looking for a solution that works.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by WackAMole Works great, but watch out with lawnmower
Does a fine job, but I'm on my fourth one. The suction caused by my lawnmower blade sometimes pulls up the cover and - wack - another one bites the dust...

Love having rainwater from gutters go under the sidewalk and to the pop up during storm events. Great solution!
